<br />Special meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City held.
<br />Upon roll call there were present Trustees; -President M,E.Ryan,Carl K,Mabie,H.C,
<br />Tuchsen,Geo.W.MeNulty,Geo-A.Kreiss, City Clerk W.A,Price,
<br />Affidavit of C.L.Collins,Marshall in the matter of serving notice upon Trustees
<br />M.E.Ryan,Caxl K-Mabie,H.C,Tuchsen,Geo.W.McNulty,and Geo.A-greiss,calling of a special
<br />meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City,in the meeting room of
<br />said Board in the Town Hall on February IOth.192I at 7-30 o'clock P.M- was on motion
<br />of Trustee Mabie,seconded by Trustee McHulty,said affidavit be reeeived and filed,
<br />Motion Carried.
<br />Affidavit of C.L.Collins,Marshall,in the matter of personally serving notice on
<br />D,S,Wright,in charge of the Saddle Rgck Restaurant, and also on a,Baradat,owner of
<br />said Saddle Rook Restaurant situated at the corner of Broadway and Washington Street,
<br />notifying said persons to appear before the Board of Trustee iii the meeting room of
<br />the Town Hall,on Thursday evening February I0th.192I, at 7-30 o'clock P,M, to answer
<br />to complaints of the sale of intoxicating liquor in iyhui• place of business; and to
<br />show cause why the Restaurant License how held by you should not be revolked by -said
<br />Board of Trustees,was on motion of Trustee Kreiss,second ed, by Trustee Mabie,said affid-
<br />avit be received and filed.Motion Carried.
<br />Jas.J.Warton being the first witness, and being sworn,testified to the effect
<br />that he and another by the name of McGowan did on Tuesday evening at about 9-15 P,M,
<br />entered the Saddle Rock Restaurant and asked for a meal,and also asked for a drink of
<br />whiskey,of which he was served by a tall waiter,with two drinks of whiskey,after finish-
<br />ing their meal, and paying the amount of $ 2-¢0 they left the restaurant.
<br />After some discussing on the matter it was on motion of Trustee Mabie,seconded by
<br />Trustee Tuchsen,the license of the Saddle Rock Restaurant be revoked,same to take effect
<br />at once.Motion Carried.
<br />Moved by Trustee Tucheen,seconded by Trustee McNulty,we do now adjourn,Motion Carriei:,
