. 2y 50 <br />0 <br />Redwood City,March 7th.192I,7-30 o'clock P.M. <br />Regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City held.. <br />Upon roll call there were present Trustees;- President M.E.Ryan,Carl K.Mabie;H.C. <br />Tuchsen,Geo.W.McNulty,Geo.A.Kreise.City Clerk W.A.Price. <br />Minutes of regular meeting. held February 2Ist.1921 was read and on motion of Trustee <br />Tuehsen,seconded by Trustee Mabie and carried same he approved as read. <br />Affidavit of City Marshall C.L.Collins in.the matter of posting notice of application <br />for permit to conduct a public laundry under provision of Ordinance No.I25.Og the Town <br />of Redwood City at I25 Main Street in'said Town was on motion of Trustee Mabie,seconded <br />by Trustee Tuchsen same be received and filed,Motion Carried. <br />Application of Calinte Raynal,Gaston Cortes,and Euphraia Raynal for permission to conduct <br />a public laundry within the premises of I25 Main Street,known as the Anderson property in <br />the Town of Redwood City,was on motion of Trustee Tuchsen, seconded by Trustee Mabie,said <br />application be grant.ed,Motion Carried. <br />Communication froin:Attorney.J..'J.:.Bullock informing the Board that on account of a previous; <br />business engagement he would be unable to appear personally before the Board *i!th;appTic= <br />;dtion;ofr.Ducuing asking for license to conduct a restuarant in the premises known as s <br />the "Saddle Rock"Restuarant",was on motion of Trustee Tuchsen, seconded by Trustee McNulty <br />same be received and filed,Motion Carried. <br />Application of L.Ducuing for a permit to obnduct a restuarant business in what was <br />formerly known as the "Martin Kuck Building '1' in the premises recently known as the <br />"Saddle Rock Restaurant" on Broadway was on motion of Trustee McNulty,seconded by Trustee <br />Tuchsen said permit be granted.Motion Carried, <br />Communication from the League of California Municipalities opposing Assembly Bills 2279 <br />§230- and § 231 now appending before the State Legislature was on motion of Trustee <br />Mabie,seconded by Trustee McNulty, ,the City Attorney be instructed to draft a letter with <br />the signatures of the Board ,to Assemblymen F.L.Esksward and State Senator M.B.Johnson <br />opposing said bills,Motion Carried, <br />Application of Redwood City Post No.I05 American Legion for a permit to hold a one o'cItoc.k <br />dance in Masonic Hall Saturday evening April 2nd,192I was on motion of Trustee McNulty, <br />seconded by Trustee Kreiss same be granted, Motion Carried. <br />Application of Court Madrone Hall Assn.for permit to hold a dance in Forester's Hall <br />on Saturday evening oig March Igth.and April 2nd.192I was on motion of Trustee McNulty, <br />seconded by Trustee Tuchsen same be granted until one o'clock,Motion Carried. �• <br />Application of G.Farnacari Company for a permit to hold a twelve o'clock dance at <br />130¢ El Camino Real on Saturday evenings March 12th . and Igth.192I,was on motion of <br />Trustee McNulty,seconded by Trustee Tuchsen,same be <br />granted,Motion Carried. <br />
