f Redwood City,February 22,192I,7-30► clock P.M. <br />Regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City held. <br />Upon roll call there were present Trustees;- President ILH.Ryan,Carl K.Mabie, H.G. <br />Tuchsen,Geo.W.MeNulty,City Clerk W.A.Price,Absent Trustee Geo.A.$reiss. <br />Minutes of the regular adjourned meeting held February I¢.1921 were read and on <br />motion of Trustee McNulty,seconded.by Trustee Mabie,said minutes be approved as read, <br />Application of the Pacific Gas & Electric Company for permission to set two poles <br />on Opal Avenue,as PER BZUE PRINT # 4.58-R was on motion of Trustee Mabie,seconded by <br />Trustee Tuchsen said permit be granted,Motion Carried. <br />Communication from Aug.F.Swoboda and g.Genavese,residing on Hancock Street asking <br />the Board to repair the street in front of their property,was on motion of Trustee Mabie, <br />seconded by Trustee McNulty,the clerk be instructed to write said parties,informing them <br />that as it is not an improved street, that whatever improvement is needed in front of <br />their property will have to be done by themselves. Motion Carried. <br />Application of Redwood Parlor # 66.N.S.G.W, and Bonita Parlor # IO.N.D.G.W. for a <br />permit to hold a dance in Forester's Hall Saturday evening February 26th.192I;was on <br />motion of Trustee Tuchsen,seconded by Trustee McNulty,said permit be granted until one <br />I <br />1 o'clock.Motion Carried. <br />Application of G.Farnaciari Company for a permit to hold a I2 o'clock dance at 1304. <br />l <br />E1 Camino Real on Saturday evenings of_February 26th. and March 5th.192I,was on motion <br />of Trustee Tuchsen,seconded by Txustee Mabie said permit be granted,Mgtion Carried,. <br />Communication from Bonita -Parlor # IO.N.D.G.W. explaining it was the iract.s:tom,t•o <br />plant a tree each year in honor of the birthday of Dither Burbanks March 7th. and asking <br />the Board if they had --any special place for planting same,on motion of Trustee McNulty, <br />seconded by Trustee Mabie permission be granted to plant the tree on the grounds of the <br />City Hall.,the location to be left with City.Engineer Dimmitt, Motion Carried. <br />Application of E.C.Cottier of San Mateo,for a master plumbers license for the Town <br />of Redwood City, for the year of 192I was on motion of Trustee Mabie,seconded by Trustee <br />Tuchsen,said license be granted.Motion Carried. <br />Communication from the Union Oil Company regarding the•construction of a concrete <br />iculvert in front of their service station at Broadway and El Camino Real was on motion <br />of Trustee Tuchsen,seconded by Trustee Mabie,same be received.and filed and the clerk <br />be instructed to write and inform them the Board agrees with the contents of t46ir letter, <br />Motion Carried. <br />Moved by Trustee Mabie,seconded by Trustee Tuchsen, the Supt. of Streets be instructed <br />to remove all the old turn -to -right signs,and purchase new button signs to replace them, <br />Motion Carried. <br />Moved by Trustee McNulty, seconded by Trustee Tuchsen we do now adjourn,Motion Carried. <br />C12'Z Cry <br />' X�%k%k*%k%k*%k*>k%k�>k%k%Fx%k���%k %6�•%kh*%1=%k>k�%F*W%%%k%F-i•%; <br />249 <br />
