J1 <br />1A <br />0 <br />, <br />W0 <br />Redwood City,May 18th.I92I,8 o'clock P.M. <br />Regular meeting of the Board of Trustees,of Town of Redwood City held. <br />Upon roli..call there were present Trustees;Pr9sident M.E.Ryan,Carl g.Mabie,H.C. <br />Tuchsen,Geo.W.McNulty,City Clerk w.A.Price, Absent Trustee Geo.A.$re,ss. <br />Minutes of regular meeting held May 2nd.1921 were read and on motion of Trustee <br />Tuchhen,seconded by Trustee Mabie same be approved as read,Motion Carried. <br />Communi-eation from Gen.Geo.S.Evans Relief Copps Nd -36 extending an invitation to <br />Igembers of the Board tp participate in the Memorial exercises to be held May 30th.19210 <br />was on motion of Trustee Mabie,seconded by Trustee McNulty and carried , the invitation <br />be accepted and the members be requested to attend. <br />Moved by Trustee McNulty,seconded by Trustee Tuchsen and carried the sum of Forty <br />(040.00)Dollars be donated to Gen.Geo.S.Evans Relief Corps towards paying for the hiring <br />of a band for Memorial Day. <br />On motion of Trustee i-dabie,seconded by Trustee Tuchsan Edwin B.Fox be authorized to <br />renew the Fire Insurance policy on the Chemical Fire.Engine,Motion Carried. <br />Application of G.Faraciari Co. for a permit to hold a twelve o'clock dance at 130¢ <br />E1'Camino Real on Saturday evenings of May 28th.1921 and June'4th.1921,.was*on.Motion of <br />Trustee kabie,seconded by Trustee McNulty same be granted,Motion'Carried. <br />Applieatio4L of the Sequoia Union High School for a permit to hold a twelve o'clock, <br />dance in Forester's Hall on Saturday evening May 28th.192I was granted 'on motion of <br />Trustee Mabie,seconded by Trustee McNulty,Motion Carried. <br />Communication from the League of California Municipalities regarding public utility <br />Companies was on motion of Trustee McNulty,seconded by Trustee Tuchsen same be received <br />and filed. <br />Comminication from the League of California Municipalities.inviting the Board to <br />-send a representive to the conference -of the; State Irrigation Association to be 73eld at <br />Sacramento May 20th.192I was on motion of.Trustee Tuchsen, seconded by Trustee Mabie,same <br />be received and filed.Motion Carried. <br />Moved by Trustee Tuchhen,seconded by Trustee McNt.ltyr,Chairman Ryan be authorized <br />to sign lamp contract in the amount of Three Hundred (.300)Dollars between the Town of <br />Redwood City, and the Pacific States,Electric-Compaiiy,Motion Carried. <br />Report of Tax Collector for the Collection of 2nd.Installment of City taxes was <br />on motion of Trustee Tuchsen,se'conded by Trustee Mollulty samh be received and filed. <br />On motion of Trustee'MeNulty,seconded by'T'rust•ee.'Tuchsen the Clerk be authorized <br />to have 2,000 notices for removal of weeds print.edy.,Motion Carried <br />Moved by Trustee Tuchsen, seconded by Trustee. McNulty,Chairman Ryan be authorized <br />to sign the report submitted to the Board by City Attorney Mansfield regarding data on the <br />Redwood Creek project and same be forwarded to the Department of Engineers.for Rivers and <br />Harbors at.Washington,D.C.
