298 <br />Redwood City,October 3rd.192I,7-30 o'clock P.IJ: <br />Regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City held. <br />Upon roll call there were present Trustees; -President M.E.Ryah,Carl K.Mabie,H.C.Tuchsen, <br />Geo.W.McNulty,Geo.A.Kreiss,City Clerk W.A.Price. <br />Minutes of regular meeting held September 19th.1921 were read and on motion of Trustee <br />Kreiss,seconded by Trustee Mabie same be approved as read,Motion Carried. <br />Application of the Pacific Gas & Electric Company for permission to contact on three LL <br />poles belonging to the City as per BLUE PRINT § 549-R atteahed,also permission to set two <br />poles on Ramona Street as per BLUE PRINT # 547-R attached was on motion of Trustee Mabie, <br />seconded by Trustee McNulty said permits be granted,Motion Carried. <br />A communication from the Redwood City Board of Health informing the Board of the follow- <br />ing officers and members;- <br />IVMrs.D.E.Graham,President <br />C.Drathman,Secretary <br />C.K.Mabie <br />C.L.Collins., <br />Dr.J.E.Chapin <br />Miss C.E.Clute. <br />was on motion of Trustee McNulty, seconded by Trustee Kreiss,same be received and filed; <br />Motion Carried. <br />On motion of Trustee McNulty, seconded by Trustee Kreiss and carried, the Board of Health <br />be authorized to rent a room in the Drew BtLilding for the purpose of establishing office <br />and laboratory,the rent to be the sum of Ten(o I0.00) Dollars.per month. <br />Application of Bonita Parlor IO,N.D.G.W.for a pe =it to hold a' one o'clock dance in <br />Forester's Hall on the evening of October 8th:192I,was on motion of Trustee Kreiss,seconded <br />by Trustee McNulty and carried same be granted. <br />Application of G.Farnaciari Company for a permit to"hold a twelve o'clock dance at 1304 <br />E1 Camino Real oh Saturday evening October 8th.and 15th.192I said permits be granted on <br />motion of Trustee Mcidulty,seconded by Trustee Kreiss and carried. <br />Communication from H.C.Kroeger prop of the California Theatre on Main Street relative <br />to license of the two theatres in this city according to their seating capacity,was on <br />motion of Trustee Mabie, seconded by Trustee Mcidulty;said 'communication be received and filed, <br />and the City Attorney be instructed to amend the present Ordinance,to regulate the seating <br />capacity of theatresfin this city and have same ready by next meeting,I4otion Carried. <br />On motion of Trustee Mabie,secinded by Trustee Kreiss, the contract for galvanized pipe <br />and fittings on which bids were opened September 19th.192I be awarded to MARK-LALLY R CO.,in <br />the amount of $ 2034.73,Motion Carried. <br />Communication from R.H.K.Smith in regards to a traffic manager to exploit the advantages <br />and to bring Manufactoties to locate in this City,was on motion of Trustee Tuchsen,seconded <br />by Trustee Idlabie same be received and filed..Motion Carried. <br />Moved by Trustee Tuchsen,seconded by Trustee McNulty and carried, the City Treasurer be <br />instructed to transfer the til 1500.00 now in his possession,collected from the property <br />owners fronting on Jefferson Avenue,between State Highway and Adams Street to the General <br />Fund. <br />Affidavit of Jas.D.Hedge in the matter of Publishing and affidavit of Ed Dearborn, <br />Supt.of Streets in the matter pf posting notice of Improvements under RESOLUTION of <br />INTENTION # E -I -FINGER AVENUE was on motion of Trustee Mellulty,seconded'by Trustee I-Iabie, <br />said affidavits be received _,nd filed,Motion Carried. <br />The following protest was presented to the Board from owners of property owners frontin; <br />on Finger Avenue against RESOLUTION of INTENTION NO E -I and on motion of Trustee Tuchsen <br />I <br />Q <br />9 <br />I <br />
