M- <br />AN ORDINANCE REGULATING AWN- <br />INGS IN THE TOWN OF BED - <br />WOOD CITY. <br />The Board of Trustees of the Town of <br />Redwood City do ordain as follows, to - <br />wit: <br />Section 1. It is hereby declared un- <br />lawful for any person• firm or corpora- <br />tion to construct or erect or cause to be <br />constructed or erected any wooden awn - <br />Ing over or upon any sidewalk or any <br />public street in the Town of Redwood <br />City, County of San Mateo, State of Cal- <br />ifornia <br />Section 2, It Is hereby declared un- <br />lawful for any person, flrm or corpora- <br />tion to construct, erect or maintain or <br />cause to be constructed, erected or <br />maintained any canvass awning over <br />or upon any sidewalk or any public <br />street In the Town of Redwood City, <br />County of San Mateo, State of Califor= <br />nla unless such canvass awning and <br />every part thereof Is at least six feet <br />six Inches above the top of the -finished. <br />sidewalk when opened. <br />' Section 3. The protest is based on <br />the following reasons; <br />I, That the road work has been done on Duane Street and is in <br />good condition. <br />2.
