<br />Regular meeting of, the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City held.
<br />Upon roll call there were present Trustees; -Pre sud.ent Y.E.Ryan;Carl K.Tviabie-,H.C,Tuchsen, `
<br />Geo.w.McNulty,Geb.A.Kreiss,City Clerk w.A.Price.
<br />Minutes of regular meeting held November 2Ist.I92I were read and on motion of Trustee
<br />Mabie,seconded by Trustee Tuchsen,same be approved as read,Motion Carried.
<br />Application of the Standard Oil Company for permission to construct,operate and maintain
<br />a'service station at S.E.Corner of E1 Camino Real and Claremont Avenue.also permission to
<br />remove several trees along the curb facing said property was on motion of Trustee Tuchsen,
<br />secpnded by•Trustee McNulty said permit be granted.Motion Carried.
<br />Affidavit of Jas.D.xedge in the matter of Publishing notice inviting sealed proposals
<br />for improvement of Duane Street,Brewster Avenue, and Arch Street,alsdi affidavit of w.A.Prico,
<br />City,Clerk in the matter of posting near Council Chamber door,inviting sealed proposals for
<br />Duane Street,Brewster Avenue and Arch Street was on motion of Trustee McNulty,seconded by
<br />Trustee Kreiss said Affida-bit be received and filed,Motion Carried.
<br />The following bid was received,publicly opened,examined and declared; -

<br />Item I.-- For crushed rock required to bring the macadam base to the subgrade required for'
<br />applying wearing surface,spread in place and rolled, the sum of Three Dollars and seventy

<br />Item 2 -For scarifing,grading and shaping,spreading the crushed rock for surface
<br />dressing,rolling,constructing the asphaltic oil wearing surface complete,the sum

<br />On lotion of Trustee Tuchsen, seconded by Trustee IaicNulty, the Clerk be instructed to
<br />purchase one tappers dye set for 22 inch hose coupling,Motion Carried,
<br />Communication from the Redwood City Chamber of Commerce for permission to use t1a
<br />auditorftm-. for card parties was on motion of Trustee McNulty, seconded by Trustee Tuchsen
<br />i same be referred to the Fire Department,Motion Carried.
<br />On motion of Trustee Dabie,seconded by Trustee Tucshen, the sum of 4 50.00 be donated
<br />to the Redwood City Troop No.I.Boy Scouts of America,I:iotion Carried.
<br />On motion of -Trustee Tuchsen,seconded by Trustee McNulty and carried, the sum of $ 5.00
<br />be donated to the Woman.'s Club for the Kiddies Xmas tree.
<br />Application of Court Madrone I10.158 F.of A. for a permit to hold a dance in Forester's
<br />Hall on December 31st.192I,New Years eve was on motion of Trustee Tuchsen,seconded by
<br />Trustee IrIcNulty same be granted until one o'clock.Iviotion Carried.
<br />Communication from Jos.M.Reichlin of San Francisco owner of Lot 8 -Block 8-wel..esley �.
<br />Park who paid under protest the sum of j I.99 for taxes,was on motion of Trustee IvicNulty 1.
