On motion of Trustee Tuchsen,seconded by Trustee IrlcNulty and carried , the deed from <br />the Sequoia Union High School Trustees for a tri -angular piece of property at the N.E. <br />Cor. of State Highway and Broadway be accepted, and the City Attorney be constructed to <br />have same recorded. <br />Moved by Trustee Tuchsen, seconded by Trustee HeNulty, the City Attorney be instructed <br />to prepare an Ordinance for the renaming of East Jefferson Avenue, E,Brewster Avenue and <br />East Hopkins Avenue. I,iotion Carried. <br />The City Engineer having checked up the several bids on Cast Iron Water Pipe and <br />fittings was on motion of '.rustee Tuchsen, seconded by Trustee Kreiss, the contract for <br />Cast Iron Pipe and fittings in the amount of $I1,248.37 be avrarded to <br />I' 1.P.HORN & COI,4PANY <br />pipe and fittings to be paid for ten(IO) days after delivery,Motion Carried. <br />On motion of Trustee Tuchsen,seconded by Trustee Ilreiss, the checks and bonds of <br />the uncessful bidders be returned,I,iotion Carried. <br />On motion of Trustee Tuchsen ,seconded by Trustee McNulty and carried, the Fire <br />Department be authorized to purchase a Lazier quick coupling,one for nozzle and one <br />for hydrant, the cost to be about 0 35.00. <br />Moved by Trustee Tuchsen,seconded by Trustee I14cNulty and carried, the Clerk be instruct- <br />ed to advertise for the following; - <br />NOTICE TO BIDDERS <br />Fire Apparatus <br />Tile Board of Trustees of the Town <br />of Redwood City will receive scaled <br />proposals or bids up to the hour of '7:30 <br />o'elock P. Alt. of Tuesday, January 3rd, <br />3022, for the purchase of one (1) Triple <br />Connbination motor propelled 'pumping <br />fire engine of not less than 750 gallons <br />per minute capacity, fully equipped <br />with hose wagon and chentical engine, <br />to be delivered F. 0. 13, Redwood City. <br />Bidders will submitiletalled specifica- <br />tions of apparatus with each hid, and <br />also state the approximate date for de- <br />livery. <br />All bids must be accompanied by a <br />certified check or bidder's bond eaual <br />In amount to ten (10) per cent of the <br />amount of bid, as a guarantee of de- <br />livery, Checks of unsuccessful bidders <br />to be•returned upon rejection of their <br />bids.
