356 <br />Redwood City,l'ebruary 20th.1922,7-300'elock P.M, <br />Regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City held. <br />Upon roll call there were present Trustees; -President M.E.Ryan,Carl K.Mabie,H.C, <br />Tuchsen,_Gea.W.McNulty,Geo.A.Kreiss,Clerk W.A.Price. <br />Minutes of regular meeting held February 6th.1922,were read and on motion of Trustee <br />Kreise,seeonded by Trustee Mabie same be approved as read, Motion Carried. <br />Mrs.W.E.LaDieu appeared before the Board asking the endorsemeht of the Board to a <br />Resolution for the formation of a sanitary district to be known as Washington Sanitary <br />District,in the Boyd Kent Tract,on motion of Trustee Mabie,seconded by Trustee Kreiss <br />and carried the Board go on record of endorsing the Resolution for said sanitary District. <br />Moved by Trustee Tuchsen, seconded by Trustee McNulty and carried the library Trustees <br />be authorized to make changes in the lighting system of the Libarary in the amount of <br />f 150,00. <br />On motion of Trustee 1'uchsen,seconded by Trustee Kreiss, the.. City Attorney and Plumbing <br />Inspector be instructed to make the necessary amendments to Plumbing Ordinance No.IOI and <br />report same at next regular meeting,Motioii Parried., <br />The following letter was received from the Redwood City Water Company and on motion of <br />Trustee Kreiss,seconded by Trustee McNulty same be received and filed; - <br />Redwood City,Cal. <br />February 18th.1922i <br />Mr.Albert Mansfield,City Attorney, and <br />Mr.W.A.Price,City Clerk, <br />Redwood City,Oalifornia. <br />Dear Sirs;_ <br />The undersigned;Redwood City Water Company,hereby acknowledges <br />the receipt this day of the letter of the City Attorney addressed to it, <br />datdd February 15th.1922, and,as therein requested,said company now <br />answers said letter and says that its written option to the Board of <br />Trustees of said town,dated January 14th.1922,may be deemed modified as <br />set out'in said letter of the city attorney,except that to avoid any <br />ambiguity or misunderstanding it is mutually agreed; <br />I. That the words'!(both real and personal)"shall not be constructed <br />to include choses in action,claims and demands. <br />2. That under paragraph 2 of the city attorney's letter the"matter <br />for future consideration ',-is only the rate or amount of increase. <br />Yours very truly, <br />REDWOOD CITY WATER COMPANY <br />by A0iWalsh. <br />---------------------- <br />Its President. <br />Application of the K.M.B.Club for a permit for a One o'clock dance in Forester's Hall on <br />Tuesday evening February 2Ist.1922,same was granted on motion of Trustee Mabie,seconded by <br />Trustee Krbiss and carried. <br />Application of the Sequoyah Club for a permit to hold a one O'clock dance in Forester's <br />Hall on Saturday evenings of March ¢th.and IIth.1922 was on motion of Trustee Kreiss , <br />seconded by Trustee McNulty same be granted, <br />
