386 <br />r <br />1 <br />Attest, W.A.Price. <br />------------------------------- -- <br />------- ------------------- <br />Clerk of the Town of Redwood -City. <br />I hereby approve the foregoing Resolution of Award No.E-3 this 3rd, day of April,1922o <br />MOE@Ryan& <br />------------------------ ------------ ------ <br />President of the -Board of Trustees of t1B Town <br />of Redwood City. <br />Moved by Trustee Tuchsen,seconded by Trustee McNulty and carried, the certified checks of <br />unsuccessful bidders on Duane street,Brewster avenue, and Arch Street be returned. <br />Moved by .Trustee Tuchsen,seconded. by Trustee McNulty,and carried all bids on Finger <br />Avenue improvements be rejected, and certified cgecks be returned to bidders. <br />On motion of Trustee Tuohsen,seconded by Trustee Kreiss and carried,Contractor W.W. <br />Thompson be granted an extension of.Ninty (90) days for- completion of Redwood Highlands <br />contract. <br />Applioation'of S.Weissman for a permit to hold a one o'clock dance in Forester's. <br />Hall on Saturday evening April,15th.1922,was on motion of Trustee Xabie,seconded by Trustee <br />Kreiss same be granted.Mgtion Carried <br />Application of Metamore Tribe # 2¢ Imp.®rder of Rgdmen for a permit to,hold a one <br />o'clock dance in Forester's Hall on Saturday night April 29th.1922 was granted on motion <br />of Trustee Mabie,seconded by Tfastee Kreiss and carried. <br />c <br />Application of J.Guffanti for• a permit to hold a twelve o'clock dance at 130¢ State <br />Highway on Saturday evenings of April. 8th. and April 15th.1922 was on motion. of Trustee <br />Mabie,seoonded by Trustee Kreiss and carried same be granted. <br />Application of Edward Ory of 1725 Chase Street,0akland California to hold a one o' <br />Clock dance in Forester's Hall on Wednesday evening•April 19th.1922 was granted on motion <br />of Tiustee Kreiss ,seconded by TFu.stee Mabie. <br />A petition was received from property owners situated on the east side of the State <br />Highway,on motion of Trustee McNulty,seconded by Trustee Kreiss,sai d petition be returned <br />to the petitioners with the information that said district is outelde the. limits of Redwood <br />City,and to refer them to the State Highway Commissioners.Motion Carried. <br />%A communication from Mr.R.R,Heistand of I28 Elwood Street',relatiue to have Busses stop <br />passing through the City on the State Highway,to take on and leave off passengers was on <br />motion of Trustee Tuchsen,seconded by Txrustee -Kreiss said oommunication be referred to the <br />City Attorney for said matter to be taken up with the Railroad Commissioners.Motion Carried. <br />On motion of Trustee McNulty, seconded by Trustee Mabie and carried, the supt.of Streets <br />be instructed to remove a tree on Arch Street. <br />On motion of Trustee McNulty, seconded by Trustee Kreiss and carried, the City Engineer <br />be instructed to prepare PIANS and SPECIFICATIONS for a FENCE on W®st side of El Camino <br />RVal,between Redwood Avenue and Vera Avenue. <br />Mgved by Trustee Tucheen, seconded by Trustee McNulty and carried, the Board accept the <br />offer of the National Cast Iron Pipe Company of $ 25.00 per ton for all damaged water pipe. <br />Mgved by Trustee Zuchean,seconded by Trustee McNulty and carried, the Map of Vera Avenue <br />Villas #present ed by City Engineer Dimmitt be accepted by this Board. <br />Moved by Trustee McNulity,seconded by Trustee Tuehsen, the Clerk be instructed to write <br />the Pacific Silicate Company,to remove the cause of fuel oil escaping into the gutters or <br />it not to remove the oil drums off of the side walk. Motion Carried, <br />
