RESOLVED,by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Ro dwrood City,County of San Iiateo, State of California,that the City Engineer,be, and he is hereby ordered to prepare plans, specifications and estimates for doing the following work and making the following improve- ments in said Town of Redood City,to-wit; That the following avenue and al - toy In the Town of Redwood City be Improved by having constructed there- on and therein sewers, manholes, let -t orals and wyes as follows, to -wit: ! That an eight Inch vitrified salt glazed tile pipe sewer be constructed along the center line of Jefferson av-1 ( rune from a Point on the center line of said avenue where the northerly line of Grand street extended easterly Intersects same and extending south- erly to the center//line'of Jeter street extended to the ceflter line of said Jef- ferson avenue and to connect with a manhole now In place at the point of beginning of said sewer and also to connect with manhole to be construct- ed at the center line of Jefferson av- enue at the center line of Jetor street extended thereto: excepting however a distance of 40 feet where said sewer crosses the creek between Grand street and Hudson street, said 40 feet to be constructed of black dipped wrought Iron pipe eight (8) Inches in j diameter; that brick manholes with cast Iron frames and covers be con- , structed along' the line of said sewer on Jefferson avenue at the following II places, to -wit: one manhole at the center line of Jefferson avenue at the center line of Jeter street extended to center line of Jefferson, avenue; one manhole on the center line of Jeffor- son avenue at the center line of Tris tdreet: one manhole on center line of Jefferson avenue at the center line of INdson street extended to the cen-j j ter line of Jefferson avenue; one man - bole on the center line of Jefferson av- enue at a point 815 feet northerly from the intersection of the center tine of Jeter street with the center, line of Jefferson avenue; one mnnholet on the center line of Jefferson avenue at a point 855 feet northerly from the Intersection of the center, line of Jef- ferson avenue with the center line of Jeter street extended to said center line of Jefferson avenue; That a six (5) Inch vitrified salt glazed the pllie� sewer be constructed at the termina-I tion of Hudson street and Jefferson avenue along the extension of the cen- ter line of Hudson street commencing on the center line of Hudsun street at the westerly line of Jefferson ay.
