<br />Regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwdod City held.
<br />Upon roll call there were present Trustees;-kPresident G.u'I.MeNulty,Carl K.11abie,H.A.$ee9er,
<br />I;I.E.Ryan,City Clerk VI.A.Price.
<br />Minutes of regular meeting held October 2nd.1922 was read and on moti on of Trustee Mabie,
<br />seconded by Trustee Beeger same be paaroved as read, Motion Carried. -

<br />A Committee from the Redwood City Chamber of Commerce appeared'before the Board in regards,
<br />to Municipal Playground,the project was presented to the Board with request that an election
<br />beheld as soon as possible to vote upon the project,it was on motion of Trustee Beeger,
<br />seconded by Trustee Ryan,same'be referred to the City Engineer Dimmitt to prepare an estimat3
<br />of the cost of carrying out said improvements and report at next meeting, Motion Carried.
<br />Application of the Pacific Gas & Electric Company for permission to set three poles on
<br />Bradford street as per Blue Print # 669'`R and to contact on pole of the City of Redwood as
<br />per BLUE PRINT jr, 672 R;also to set two poles on Regent Street as per BLUE PRINT # 674-R,
<br />was on motion of Trustee Beeger,seconded by Trustee Ryan and carried all of said permits
<br />be granted,
<br />Application of 'the Pacific Gas & Electrftc Company for permission to set two poles on
<br />E1 Camino Real between Broadway.and Brewster Avenue,as per Blue Print # 675-R was on motion
<br />of Trustee Beeger,seconded by Trustee Ryan said application be denied and same be referred to
<br />the City Electrician to devise some other way of supplying applicants',Motion Carried.
<br />Communication from 11rs.Amy Westbrook Page in regards to a sewer on Whipple avenue was on
<br />motion of Trustee Ryan,seconded by Trustee IJi abie same be referred to the City Engineer
<br />to report,on same at next meeting, Motion Carried.
<br />Communication from Redwood City Post m I05 American Legion asking the Board to enter a
<br />Float representing the City in the Armistice Day Celebration to be held at Pacific City,
<br />November IIth.1922;tras on motion of Trustee Mabie,seconded by Trustee Beeger, the Clerk be
<br />instructed to write and request the Committee to appear before the Board next Monday evening,
<br />to jalk over the matter.Iiotion Carried.
<br />Communication from the Plant Rubber and Asbestos Works asking the Board to give them an
<br />3pportunity to g'igure on fire hose,aas on motion of Trustee Ryan,seconded,by Trustee Beeger,
<br />name be received and filed, and they be given an opportunity to bid the next time the City
<br />vas in the market for fire hose.Motion Carried.
<br />Moved by Trustee Beeger,seconded by Trustee Beeger, the City Attorney be instructed to
<br />nnend the present Parking Ordinance to read' sixty (60) minutes instead of twenty (20) -minutes
<br />;he limit time of parking, Iiotion Carried.
<br />The following petition was presented to the Board and on motion of Trustee Mabie, seconded
<br />>y Trustee Beeger and carried said petition be received and filed.

<br />your Honorable Board to permit us to conduct 3 o'clock dances,If permitted we shall see that
<br />all dances are conducted in an orderly and satisfactory manner.
