Whereas,notice of the passage of said Resolution of Intention No -0-3 headed"Notice of
<br />Improvement" were duly and legally posted along the line of said contemplated work and
<br />improvements and in front of all property liable to be assessed therefor,in the form and
<br />manner required by law,as appears from the affidavit of Edward Dearborn,street Superintenden.n
<br />of said Townnow on file in the office of the Clerk of said Town; and
<br />WHMAS,it appears from the said affidavit of said Edward Dearborn,said Street Superint-
<br />endent hereinbefore referred to that the posting of said -notices of the passage of said
<br />Resolution of Intention No -C-3 was completed on the Igth.day of May,IgIg; and
<br />WHEREAS,in and by said Resolution of Intention No-0-3,Monday, the 2nd.day of June,Iglg,
<br />at the hour of 8 O'clock P.M. of said day at the meeting place of the Board of Trustees of
<br />said Town of Redwood City,in the Town Hall on Webster street in said Town as the day,hour
<br />and place when and where any and all persons having any objections to the proposed wory�a'nA
<br />improvements described in said Resolution of Intention No.0-3 could appear before the Board
<br />of Trustees of the said Town of Redwood City and show cause why said proposed work and
<br />improvements should not be carried out in accordance with said Resolution of Intention No.
<br />C-3; and
<br />WHEREAS, at the day,hour and place fixed in said Resolution of Intention NO -C -3 -when
<br />and where any and all persons could appear before the Board`of Trustees of said. Town of
<br />Redwood City and show cause why said proposed work and improvements should not be carried
<br />out in accordance with said Resolution of Intention NO,0-3,no pereenl or persons appeared
<br />and no objections of any kind were amde against said proposed work,and improvements describ-
<br />ed in said Resolution of Intention No -0-3 and said time for'protests having completely
<br />expired;now therefore be.it
<br />RESOLVED, that the public interest and convenience require the work and improvements
<br />herein described.,and the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City hereby orders the
<br />following work to be done and improvements to be made in laid Town,to-wit;

<br />The Town Clerk of said Town is hereby directed to post a notice of said work and improve-
<br />nents,together with the plans and specifications therefor,conspicuously for five days on or
<br />;year the council chamber door of said Board of Trustees,inviting sealed proposals or bids
<br />for doing the work and making the improvements ordered.He is also directed to publish a
<br />notice inviting such proposals, and referring to the plans and specifications posted or on
<br />file,in the Times-Gazette,a weekly newspaper published,printed and circulated in said Town,
<br />( there being no daily newspaper therein), and hereby designated by said Board of Trsutees
<br />for that purpose.
<br />All the.herein proposed work and improvements shall be done in pursuance of an& in con-
