<br />Regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City held.
<br />Upon roll call there were present Trustees; -President GA%McNulty,C.K.Mabie,A.E,
<br />Monteith,H.A.BeegertMeE.Ryan,City Clerk W.A.Price,
<br />Minutes of May 2Ist,1923 and minutes of June 4th,1923 wad on motion of Trustee Mabie,
<br />seconded by Trustee Beeger be dispensed with until regular meeting of Ju.ly.2nd.19239,
<br />Motion Oarried. .
<br />A map of the naw subdivision called High School Acres was presented by City Engineer
<br />Dimmitt, and on motion of Trustee Beeger,seconded by Trustee Mabie,said map be accepted,

<br />Affidavit of Jas-,D,Hedge in.the matter of PUBLISHING notice of Resolution of Intention
<br />No,F-7 and affidavit of C.L.Dimmitt,Supt.of Streets in the matter of posting notice of
<br />Resolution of Intention No.F-7-Oak Knoll Manor improvements was on motion of Trustee Mabie

<br />seconded by Trustee Beeger same be received and dfiled,Motion Carried,
<br />Several property owners appeared before the Board protesting against the street work in
<br />the Oak Knoll Manor district unless the improvement included Opal Street.,on motion of
<br />Trustee Beeger,seconded by Trustee Monteith, the matter be referred to Supt.of Streets
<br />,
<br />Dimmitt to take up same with the Redwood Highlands Company, they to take the matter up
<br />with property owners on Opal Street,to arrange to have said improvements done by private
<br />contract.Motion carried.
<br />Application of A.F.Lnderson for permission to move his house around,was on motion of
<br />Trustee Mabie,seconded by'Trustee Beeger the matter be referred to Building Inspector,
<br />same to be reported on at next meeting.Motion Carried.
<br />Application of Morris Reed of San Mateo,for a junk dealers license was on motion of
<br />Trustee Mabie,seconded by Trustee Monteith same be granted, Motion Carried.
<br />Communication from E.W.Juda of 716 Whipple Avenue complaining about poison oak on a
<br />vacant lot adjourning her home was on motion of Trustee Beeger,seconded by Trustee Mabie,
<br />the clerk be instructed to notify owner ofd said lot to remove the poison Oak in accordance
<br />to the City Ordinance.Motion Carried.
<br />The following dance permits were granted on motion of Trustee Monteith,seconded by
<br />Trustee Iiabie and carried.; -
<br />The Alumni Ass.of Sequoia High School,VIoman.'s Club House,Friday eve,June 22nd.1923 until
<br />twelve oCclock.
<br />Iuletamora Tribe No.4 0 of Redmen,Forester's Hall,Saturday evening June 23rd.1923 until
<br />three o'clock.
<br />On motion of Trustee Beeger,seconded by Trustee Monteith and carried,F.H.Schottler be
<br />given the renewal of fire insurance on the Central Fire House in the amount of 0 2500.00.
<br />Moved by Trustee Mabie,seconded by Trustee Monteith and carried,A.Bertolneci be given
<br />permission to remove the Wooll Building on Broadway,also to remove the flag pole at the
<br />intersection of Main Street and Brodaway,same to be under the Supervision of Supt.of
<br />Streets and Chief of Police, Motion Carried.
<br />On motion of Trustee Beeger,seconded by Trustee Nabie and carried, the clerk be
<br />authorized to purchase a new Dalton Adding Machine in the amount of Two Hundred Dollars.
<br />On motion of Trustee Beeger,seconded by Trustee Idabie and carried, the Supt.of Water
<br />be instructed to proceed with the laying of a 61nch water main as outlined along Myrtle
<br />street from Brewster avenue to James Street.
<br />On motion of Trustee Ryan,seconded by Trustee Monteith and carried, the Supt.of Water
<br />be authorized to purchase a Bistol long distance electric transmitting and recording
<br />system for the reservoir.
