<br />north 23 0 45' east 300 feet dietan •,.thence from said point of bei'inni#g and along the
<br />said east bank of Redwood Creek south 23 0 45' 'Nest 647,6 feet; thence leaving said east
<br />bank of Redwood Creek south 56 0 50' east 639,9 feet; thence north 41 o 17' east,597.8 feet
<br />to the southerly bank of said Westpoint Slough; thence along said southerly bank of said.
<br />Westpoint Slough 580 44' west 445.2 feet; thsace north 47 0 43' west 390,3 feet to the point
<br />of beginning,containing IO acres of land more or less,and being parts of the northeast
<br />quarter of section 8 and the northwest quarter of section 9 in Township 5 south,range 3 west.
<br />T t all of said territory is wholly uninhabited,and that it is to the best
<br />interests of stSid Town of Redwood City, a municipal corporation, and the inhabitants thereof,
<br />and to the best interests of the owners of the property and territory above described that
<br />all of said territory and property be excluded from the boundaries of said Town of Redwood
<br />City and the corporajre limits thereof,
<br />WHEREFORE, your petitioners respectfully pray that this petition be filed, and
<br />that your Honorable Board without delay notify the Board cff Supervisors of the County of
<br />San Nateo,State of California,itzbeing the county in which said Town of Redwood City and
<br />said described uninhabited territory are situate,ofnthe fact of the filing of this petition,
<br />and that your Honorable Board take all such necessary and proper proceedings as may be
<br />necessary,requisite and proper to exclude the territory and real property above described
<br />from the boundaries and corporate limits of the Town of Redwood City,in compliance with the
<br />provisions of the law in such case made and provided,
