<br />RESOLUTION CONFIRMIN$.G ASSESSIENT.
<br />WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of the T.owm of Redwood City,County of San Mateo,3tate of
<br />California,did,on the 20day of Augustv1923,pa4s and adopt Resolution of Intention F -IO for
<br />the doing of said street -work in said Resolutdon of Intention mentioned and described; and
<br />WHEREAS, A.L.Chambers &- George C.DeGolyer,00-partners doing business under the firm
<br />name and sl7le of 07jambers & DeGolyer did on the 30day of Ootober,1923,duly and regulatly
<br />anter into an agreement with' C.L.Dimmitt,Stieet Superintendent of the Town of Redwood City,'
<br />for the doing of the•street work described in said Resolution bf Intention No.F-IO pursuant
<br />to an award theretofore duly and regularly made by the Board of Trustees of said Town; and..
<br />WHEREAS,all the said street -work mentioned and described in said Resolution -of Intention
<br />No.F-IO has been fully oompleted and there has heretofore and on the 2nd.day of January
<br />1924,been filed in the office of the said Clerk of the said.Town of Redwood City,an assess-
<br />ment for said street work,pursuant to the provisions of the Improvement Act of 191I,toget7ger
<br />with the ammendments thereof; and
<br />•WHEREAS, the clerk of the Town of Redwood .City, has and did -heretofore fix Monday the 4th,
<br />day of febraary,1924, the gour of 7-30 o4•crlobk P.Msof said day at the Town Hall of•the'said
<br />Town of.Redwood•City,aswthe time and place when all persons interested in the work done or
<br />in the said assessmefit would be heard by the Board of .Trustees of said Town of Redwood
<br />City; and
<br />WHEREAS,said Clerk of the Town of Redwood City has caused a notice of the filing og said
<br />assessment and of the hearing.to be published twice -in the Redvood City Standard, a weekly
<br />newspaper sprinted and circulated in said Town,the first of which publication was -more than
<br />15 days before the day set for said hearing,as.appears from the affidavit of J.D.Hedge,nowr
<br />on file in the office of the Clerk of said Town; and
<br />WHEREAS,said Clerk also posted a notice.of the filing of said assessment and of the said
<br />hearing thereon,near the,.Council Chamber door,of the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood
<br />City,as required by law,as,appears from the affidavat of W.A.Price.,now on file in the office
<br />of the Clerk of said Town; and
<br />WHEREAS, the Clerk of said Town also mailed a past card notice of filing of said assess-
<br />nent and of the hearing therson,to the owners of each and every lot assessed for said street
<br />work,accodding to the names and address of said owner appaearing on the last equalized assess
<br />nent roll for town taxes as required by'law,as-appears from the affidavit of W.A.Price,Town
<br />31erk,now on file in the office of the'C1erk of said Town.
<br />And this being the time fixed far said hearing and of hearing any objections of any 7$ind
<br />being made to said assessment or to the said street work,and no ojjJections of any kind being
<br />nada to said assessment or'to the said work,and said board of Trustees jhaving acquired
<br />jurisdiction over said assessment;
<br />It is hereby resolved by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City, that the assess
<br />vent herein mentioned•for the street work done under and pursuant to and as described in
<br />3e801ution of Intention No.F-IO which Resolution of Intention HosF-IO is now on file in the
<br />)dfice of the Clerk of said Town and to which reference is hereby made fora further.des-
<br />=ription and location of said work be, and the same is hereby confirmed.
<br />Passed and adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City,at the hour of
<br />o'clock P.M.at a regular meeting of said Board held on the 4th:day of Februaryg19249by
