<br />done under Resolution of Intention No-2-79was on motion.of.•Trustee Begger,secona ed by
<br />Trustee Mabie,sane be received and filed.Motion Carried:

<br />RESOLUTION CONFIRMING ASSESSMENT.

<br />WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of the. Town of.Redwood City,County of San Mateo.State of
<br />California,.did on the 2Ist.day of Mayo1923,pass and adopt Resolution of Intention No.F-7
<br />for the doing of said street work in said Resolution of Intention mentioned and described ;
<br />and
<br />' WHERRAS,A TEICRERT and A.TEICHERT JR.co-partners doing business under the firm name and
<br />style bf A.Tiechert & Son did on the Ist,day of August 1923,duly and regularly enter into
<br />an agreement with C.L,Dimmitt;Street Saperintendent of the Town of Redwood City,for the
<br />doing of the street work described in said Resolution of Intention No,F=7, pursuant to an
<br />award theretofore duly and regularly made by the Board of Trustees of said Town; and -
<br />WHEREAS,all the said street work mentioned and. described in said Resolution of Intention
<br />No,F-7 has been fully completed and there has heretofore and on the 9th,day of January,
<br />1924.been filed in the office of the said Clerk of the said.Town.of Redwood City.an assseso
<br />lent for said street work,pursuant to the provisions of the Improvement Act of 191I,to-
<br />gether with the ammendments thereof; and
<br />WHEREAS -.the Clerk of the Town of Redwood City,has-and did heretofore fix Monday the 4th
<br />of February,1924, the hour of 7-30 o'clock P,M,of said day at the Town Hall of the said
<br />Town of Redwood City,as the time•and-plaoe when all persons interested in the work done or
<br />in the said assessment would be heard by the Board of•Trustees of said Town of Redwood
<br />City; and
<br />WHEREAS,said Clerk of the Town of Redwood City has caused a notice of the filing of
<br />said assessment and of the hearing thereon to be published twice in the Redwood City Strand
<br />ard,a weekly newspaper published,printed and circulated in said Town, the first of whish
<br />publication was more than 15 days before the day set for said hearing,as appears from the
<br />addidavit of J,D,Hegge.now on file in the office of the Clerk of said Town; and
<br />WHEREAS,said Clerk also posted a notice of the filing of said assessment and cf the
<br />said hearing thereon.near the Council Chmaber Door, of the Board of Trustees of the Tarn of '
<br />Redwood City,as retired by law,as appears from the affidavit of W,A.Price,Town.Clerk.now
<br />on file in the office of the Clerk o$ said Town; and
<br />WHEREAS, the Clerk of said Town also mailed a post card notice of filing of said assess-
<br />ment and of the hearing..thereon,to the owners of each and every lot assessed far- said
<br />street work,according to the names .and address of said owner appearing on the last equal-
<br />ized assessment roll for town taxes as required by law,as appears from the affidavit of
<br />W,A,Price.Town Clerk now on file in the office of the Clerk of said Town.
<br />And this being the time fixed for said hearing and of hearing airy objections of any kind
<br />made to said assessment or to the said street work,and no o1jections of any kind heing
<br />made to said assessment or to the said work and said Board of Trustees having acquired jur-
<br />isdiction over said assessment;
<br />It is hereby resolved by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City, that the
<br />assessment herein mentioned for the street work done under and pursuant to and as des-
<br />cribed in Rgeolution of Intention N0,F-7. which Resolution of Intention No,F-7 is now on
<br />file in the-Office.of the Clerk of said Town and to which reference is .hereby made for a
<br />further description and location of said work be, and the same is hereby oonfirmed,.
<br />Passed and adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City,at the hour o!
<br />9-3 oIclock P.M,at a regalat meeting -of said Board held on the'4th,day of February, 1924,
<br />by he following vote.
