<br />Regular meeting of the Board of Town Trustees held.
<br />Upon roll call there were present Trustees; -President H.A.Beeger,C.K.Mabie;,A.E.Ilonteith,
<br />G.W.MeNulty,M.E.Ryan,City Clerk W.A.Price.
<br />Minutes of meeting held April 2Ist, and April 28th.1924 were read and on motion of
<br />Trustee Mabie,seconded by Trustee Monteith and carried same be approved as read.
<br />Affidavit of Jas.D.Hedge in the matter of Publishing notice to bidders ,was on motion
<br />I ' of grustee Mabie,seeonded by Trustee Monteithsamebe received and filed.Motion Carried.

<br />N In compliance with the annexed notice inviting sealed proposals,I hereby propose and agree
<br />to per#otm the work therein described,in accordance with the speciffications attached hereto
<br />and execute the contract under the supervision and to the satififaotion of the Superinten-
<br />dent of water,Town of Redwood City,at the following prioes,to-wit;-
<br />j (I) For drilling a sixteen (16) inch hole to a depth of eighty (80) feet,setting sixteen
<br />(Ib) inch casing and then continuing with a ten(IO) inch hole from the bottom of the six-
<br />teen(16) inch hole to a depth of two hundred (200) feet setting the ten(IO) inch casing,
<br />and cementing up between the ten(IO) inch and sixteen(B) inch casing in such manner as to
<br />guarantee that all surface water pn the outside of the sixteen(i6) inch well can not #et
<br />through into the tenXIO) inch well the sum of Five Hundred ($500.00)Dollars.
<br />(2) For continuing with the ten(IO) inch hole from the -Two hundred (200) feet level to
<br />two hundred and fifty(250) feet level, the sum of One huhdred and fifty($ 150.00)Dollars
<br />per lineal foot.
<br />Two hundred and fifty(250� feet level to the three hundred (300) feet level, the sum of
<br />One hundred and seventy '( 175,00)Dollars per lineal foot,
<br />Three hundred (300) feet letel to the three hundred and (fifty (350) feet level, the sum of
<br />Tway Hundred(4@200.00)D61lars per lineal foot.

<br />• (3) In the event that I should be awarded the contract,I hereby agree to start work on the
<br />iii well within 3odays from the date of said award, t.nd guarantee to work at -least eight(8)
<br />hours ,)er day on each and every day thereafter until the well is completed,- excepting
<br />Sunday's,legal holidays,and days that weather will not permit the operation of the tools.

<br />Three Hundred and fifty(350) foot level'.to the four hundred and fifty (450) feet level, the
<br />sum of Five Dollars and sixty Five cents($ 5.65)-
<br />(3) In the event that I should be awarded the contract,I hereby agree to start work on the
<br />well within a reasonable time from the date of said award, and guarantee to work at least
<br />eight(8) hours per day on.each•and every days thereafter until the well is completed.-ex-
<br />cepting'Sundays,degal holidays,and days that weather will not permit the operation of the
<br />tools.
