C <br />J <br />0 <br />Redwood City,May 19th.192¢,8`o'clock P.M. <br />Regular meeting of the Board of Trustees held. <br />Upon roll call there were present,Trustees;-President H.A.Beeger,C.K.Ivlabie,A.E.Monteith, <br />G.W.McNulty,M.E.Ryan,Clerk W.A.Price. <br />Minutes of.regular meeting held May 5th:1924 were read and on motion of Trustee McNulty, <br />seconded by Trustee Mabie and carried same be approved as read. p -� <br />i <br />Moved by Trustee idonteith,seconded by Trustee Ryan and carried, the City pay �f of <br />the expense ,with the Sequoia. High School District,in the construction of a sewer across <br />the State Highway,same_not to exceed the amount of 0 425.00 <br />Affidavit of.Jas.D.HeOge in the matter of Publishing notice U sale of Bonds Improvement <br />of Oak Knoll Manor under Resolution of Intention No.F-7 was on motion of Trustee McNulty, <br />seconded Mabie same be received and filed,Motion Carried. <br />Trustee Mabie offers the following Resolution and moves its adoption,Trustee McNulty <br />seconds the motion,MRtion Carried. <br />RESOLUTION ORDERING• BONDS DELIVERED TO CONTRACTOR. <br />WHEREAS, the Board of -Trustees of the Town of Redwood City did on the 2Ist.day of April <br />1924 advertise the sale of certain improvement bonds issued under the "Improvement Bond <br />Act of 1915" to represent unpaid assessments levied for the Improvement of Oak Knoll Manor, <br />in said Town under Resolution og Intention No -F-7 in pursuance of the "Improvement Act <br />of 191211, and whereas, the time of sale having arrived and no bids having been received, <br />IT IS HEREBY ,DETERMINED AND DECLARED that the Town Clerk be and he is hereby directed <br />to deliver said bonds to the.contractor; 'To A.Teichert & Son <br />in satisfaction of the sum due said contractor under his assessment and warrant. <br />I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced &gd <br />adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City ,the 19th.day of May,1924# <br />by the following vote; <br />Ayes C.K.IvIabie,A.E.Monteith,G.W.MeNulty,M.E.Ryan,H.A.Beeger. <br />---------------------------------- -------------------------- <br />Noes.None. <br />--------------------- <br />Absent,None. <br />Att.est,W.A.Price. <br />------------------ <br />City Clerk. <br />Application of Court Madrone # 158,Ha11 Assn. for a permit to hold a one o'clock dance <br />�r <br />in Forester's Hall,May 31st,1924 was on motion of Trustee Mabie,seconded by Trustee Me. <br />Nulty and carried same be granted. <br />Invitation from Redwood Parlor ,f 66,N.S.G.W ,to the Board to attend the Dedication of <br />the New Sequoia Union High School On Bunday,lday 25th.I924 at 2-30o'clock P.M.was on motion <br />of Trustee Mabie,seconded by Trustee McBulty same be received and f il e, ion Carried. <br />Moved by Trustee Ryan,seconded by Trustee Monteith and carried,the�Clerk be authorized <br />Co <br />t-a.-riht- af—wa3�—�aChye� � t�.�ith--the Southern Pacific Co.�w�� � ,.-- <br />App7 ication of the acific,Gas & Electric Company for a permit to set four poles on <br />Lincoln Avenue and Adams Street as per Blue Print No.885-R was on motion of Trustee Me.;tlult5 <br />seconded by Trustee Ryan and carried same be granted <br />On motion of Trustee McNulty,seconded by Trustee Ryan and carried, the City Engineer be <br />instructed to, prepare Plans &'Specifications for the construction of a sewer on Whipple <br />Avenue from Melrose Place to Ashley Avenue. <br />-211 <br />
