<br />Upon roll eall there were present,Trustees President H.A.Beeger,O.K.Mabie,A.E.Monteith,G.W.
<br />McNulty,Clerk W.A.Price,Absent,Trustee M.E.Ryan.
<br />On motion of Trustee.McNulty,seconded by Trustee Mabie and carried, the minutes of June
<br />16th.1924 be dispensed with .
<br />Affidavit of Jas.D,"edge in the matter of Publishing Notice of Filing Sewer Assessment
<br />High School Acres was bn motion of Trustee Mabie,seconded by Trustee Monteith same be
<br />received and filed. Motion Carried.
<br />Trustee McNulty offers the following Resolution and moves its adbption,Trustee Mabie
<br />seconda the motion,Motion Carried.
<br />RESOLUTION CONFIRMING ASSESSMENT.
<br />Whereas, there was filed in the office of the Clerk of the Town of Redwood City on the 19th.
<br />:day of May,1924, the assessment eft the street work done under that certain contract dated
<br />September 20th.1923,between T.M.Gallagher4'irst party, and C.L.Dimmitt as Superintendent
<br />of Streete of the Town of Redwood City as second party for the improving of certain streets
<br />t
<br />in the. town of Redwood.City,described in Resolution of Intention No.F-9.Passed and adopted
<br />by the Board of Trustees of said Town of Redwood City,oii the 16th.day of J-aly,1923,to which
<br />Resolution of.Intention No.F-9 reference is hereby'made for the description and location of
<br />said work and improvements.
<br />AND WHERE 4, this is the time fixed at which owners, contractors or any persons interested
<br />in said work done under said Resolution of Intention or in the assessment thy-refore,feeling
<br />aggrieved,by any act of the Superintendent of Streets in relation thereto,or who claim that
<br />the work has not been performed according to the contract or who claim that any portion of
<br />the work was omitted of illegally included in the contract or any person having or making
<br />any objection to the correctness of tha. assessemtn or diagram could appeal to the Board of
<br />Trustees of said Town of Redwood City,by briefly stating in writing their grounds of appeal.
<br />AND WHEREAS,it appears from the affidavit of Jas.D.,edge,noar on file in the office of the
<br />h
<br />Clerk of said Town 'that the notice of filing said assessemtn and the hearing thereon,was
<br />duly and legally published,as required by law.
<br />AND WHEREAS,it appears from the affidavit of W.A.Price,Town Clerk,that notice of the Pilin;
<br />said assessment and hearing thereon was duly posted ,that post card notices of said hearing
<br />were duly and 1e gally mailed to the owners of the lots iaibale for said assessment according
<br />to the names and addresses appearing on the last gqualized assessment roll for town taxes,
<br />and
<br />WHEREAS,it appears that no appeals were taken and no written objections of any kind were
<br />made to said assessement and said Board now having acquired jurisdiction in said matter.
<br />Be it therefore resolved, by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City that the
<br />said assessment for the work done by said T.M,Cullagher,under Resolution of Intention No.
<br />F-9,be,and the same is hereby confirmed.
<br />Passed and adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City on the 23rd.day
<br />of June,1924by the following vote;
<br />Ayes and in favor of the passage of the foregoing Resolution, Trustees,
<br />C.K.Mabie,A.E.Monteith,G.W.MeNulty,H.A.Beeger.
