RESOLUTION DECLARING NUISANCE G-40 RESOLVED,by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City,that whereas,certain noxious and dangerous weeds are growing in the Town of Redwood City upon the streets and in front of the property hereinafter mentioned,which weeds are of a kind whmch bear seed of a wingy and downy nature and will attain such latge growth as to become a fire menace when dry, and whereas the said weeds constitute a public nuisance. NOW THREREF'ORE, it is herebk declared that the said weeds do now, constitute a public nuisance and it is hereby ordered that the said public nuisamee be abated in the manner provided by that certain Act of the Legislature of the Statenof California, entitled,tAn Act Authorizing Municipalities to declare noxious or dangerous weeds growing upon -the streets or sidewalks or upon private property,within municipalities to be a public nuisance creating a lien upon the property fronting upon such streets or sidewalks or upon which nuisance exists for the cost of abating the same; approved May 26th.1915. The streets upon which and the private property in front of which said nuisance exists, are more partioularlt described as follows, to -wit; Notle 1s hereby given -That on the 23rd day of June, 1924, the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City passed a resolution declaring that 'noxious or dangerous weeds were grow - Ing upon or In front of ,the following described property In the Town of Red- wood City, to -wit: Washington Street from Fuller Street to Jefferson Avenue. Webster Street from the northerly end thereof to�Waln Street. Hamilton Street from Fuller Street to the southerly end thereof: Winslow Street from Fuller Street to the Southern Pacific Railroad Com- pany's right of way. Marshalr Street from Arguello Street to the easterly end thereof. Bradford Street from Arguello 'Street to walnut Street.. Fuller Street from Arguello Street to the easterly end thereof,.,_--_- Bast Brewster Avenue from 1:1 Ca- mino Real to Allerton Strode Arguello Street from Roger Street to Broadway. Warren Street from Alden Street to Marshall Street. Merton Street from Alden Street to Bradford Street. The said weeds constituting a public nuisance as hereinbefore specified are growing upon both sides of all the hereinbefore mentioned streets and av- enues, for the, distances berelnbefore set forth and In front of dll the prop- orty fronting upon said various. streets and avenues for the distances herelnbe- fore specified. The Superintendent of Streets of the Town of Redwood City is directed to give notice re- quired by Section 3 of the said hereinbefore mentioned Act and he shall cause said notices to be immediately posted in front of the property hereinbefore described. That Monday the 7th.day of July 1924,at eight (8) o'clock P.M. of said day at the meeting place of the Board of Trustees of the said Town of Redwood City in the Council Chamber in the Town Hall on Webster Street County of San Mateo,State of California,be, and the same is hereby fixed as the day,hour and place when objections to the proposed removal of such weeds will be heard and given due consideration and that said notices shall be pors't!edyat
