<br />Jensen and Jensen of San Jose, the ref-gsal of the 3oard to pay their bill of .) 16.75 for
<br />renairing of radiator of the Schnear Fire Engine for the reason vrork was not done satisfact-

<br />Communication from the CTen,Geo.S.Evans Belief Corps K 36 returning the Forty Dollars 1
<br />donated by the Board for music,as they were unable to procure music for I:Ieraorial Day,was
<br />on motion of Trustee llcldulty,seconded by Trustee Ryan,same be received and filed, and the
<br />,Clerk write and thank them,LIotion Carried.
<br />Communization from the Citizen's Committee for the San I.lateo County I,lernorial Park asking
<br />for a donation of ., 25.00 to I}elp defray the expenses for the celebration of July 4-5-6th.1924
<br />was om motion of Trustee Ilcllulty,seconded by Trustee Idonteith the sura of -,l 25.0_ be donated.

<br />Affidavit of C.D.Dimmitt Supt.of Streets in the matter of posting notices under Res-
<br />olution lio.G-2-Resolution Declaring Nuisance was on motion of Trustee Liabie,seconded by
<br />Trustee Ryam,same be received and filed.
<br />P,loved by Trustee LIonteith,seconded by Trustee LicYulty and carried, the Supt.of Streets
<br />be instructed to proceed with the removal of grass and weeds under Resolution Declaring
<br />A Nuisance No.G-2. ,
<br />A petition was presented to the Board by I.ir.F.A.Dustin signed by 14 property ownaes in
<br />the Sweeney Addition requesting street improverient was on motion of Trustee R:7an,seconded
<br />by Trustee I,Icldulty same be received and filed,and referred to the City Engineer to make
<br />a report on same at next meeting,I.Iotion Carried.
<br />A petition was recived from 57 property owners in the Redwood Highlands district protest-
<br />ing against allowing eight three boom bungalow and bungalow court in that district was on
<br />motion of Trustee LlcNulty,seconded by Trustee Ryan,said petition be referred to the Plan..ing
<br />Commission for action on saiae,ilotion Carried.
<br />On Motion of Trustee Liabie,seconded by Trustee I.:onteith and carried the fol-iowing dance
<br />permits were granted to-wit;-
<br />S.leissr.,an in Forester's Hall on Saturday evenings July 12th, and July 26th.1924 until one
<br />o'clock. ,

<br />On motion of Trustee Llabie,secondecl by Trustee I.:cliulty and carried, the City Clerk be
<br />authorized to purchase a motor for adding machine.
<br />I,Ioved by Trustee Ryan,seconded by Trustee Idcllulty and carried, the Clerk be instructed
<br />to advertise for bids on two car loads of cast iron water pipe,as specified by the Supt.
<br />of Water.
