226 <br />Redwood City,July 7th.1924,8 o'clock P.M. <br />Regular meeting of the Board of Trustees held. <br />Upon roll call there were present Trustees,President H.A.Beeger,O.$.Mabie,A.E.Monteith, <br />G..W.MeNulty,Clerk W.A.Price.Absent Trustee M.E.Ryan. r' <br />On motion of Trustee Mabie,seconded by Trustee Monteith and carried,Mimites of meeti#gs <br />held June 16th.23rd.and 30th.1924 be approved as read.. <br />A petition from several property owners•on Harrison.Avenue,Adams and Cleveland Street <br />asking for street improvements on said streets was on motion of Trustee Mabie,seconded by <br />Trustee Monteith and carried said petition be referred to.City Engineer Dimmitt to report <br />back at next meeting _ <br />On motion of Trustee McNulty,secondecl by Trustee Monteith and:_-carried,Mr.Groom be refunded Ir <br />Twenty Dollars paid for sewer lateral there being one already installed. <br />On motion of Trustee Monteith, seconded by Trustee'Mabie and carried, the plans and specif <br />ications for improving Hbller and other streets be referred to the City Engineer. <br />Moved by Trustee Mabie,seconded by Trustee Monteith and carried,E.B.Fox local agent be <br />given the renewal of Fire Insurance on the Seagrave Fire Engine in the sum of $ 8000,00 <br />Moved by Trustee McBulty,se.conded by,Trustee Monteith and carried, the Board accept the <br />terms of Gordan Rowe Company for auditing the books up to date and clerk write them to <br />confirm said letter. <br />Moved by TrusteenMeNulty,seconded by Trustee Zontei$h and carried, the report of Free <br />Library Trustees for years 1923-24 be received and filed. <br />Moved by Trustee McNulty, seconded by Trustee Monteith and carried, the Board confirm the <br />re -appointment of D.W.Williams by Chairman Beeger,as Library Trustee. <br />Affidavit of C.L.Dimmitt,Supt.of Streets in matter of posting notice of Resolution <br />Declaring Nuisance N0.3-G.and Resolution Declaring Nuisance No -4-G was on motion of Trustee <br />Ii McNulty, seconded by Trustee Mabie and carried same be received and filed. <br />Moved by Trustee Mabie,seconded by Trustee McNulty, the Supt.of Streets proceed with the <br />work under Resolution Declaring NuisanceeNo.3-G.Motion Carried. <br />Moved by Trustee McNulty, seconded by Trustee Monteith and carried, the Supt. oil Streets <br />proceed with work under Resolution Declating Nuisance No.G-4-. <br />Affidavit of Jas.D.Hedge in the matter of Publishing notice of Filing Street Assessment <br />under Resolution o$ Intention No.G-I.was on motion of Trustee Mabie,seconded by Trustee <br />McNulty and carried same be received and filed. <br />RESOLUTION CONFIR,.4ING ASSESSMENT. <br />WHEREAS the Street Superintendent of the Town of Redwood City,did file in the office of <br />the Clerk of said Town on the 19th.day of May.1924, the assessment for all street work dome <br />under Resolution of Intention No.G-I,which Resolution of Intention is.now on file in the <br />office of the Clerk of said Town and to which Resolution reference is hereby made for an <br />accurate description and location of the work and improvements described therein and herein 7� <br />referred to. <br />And Whereas the Clerk of said Town of Redwood City did fig Monday the 7th.day of July <br />2924 at the hour of 8 o'clock P.M. of said day,in the Council Chamber in the Town Hall on <br />Webster Street in said Town of Redwood City as the day,hour and place when and where a <br />hearing would be held on said assessment. <br />And whereas the notice of the hearing of said assessment was duly and legally published <br />posted and mailed in time,form and manner as required by law as appears from the affidavits <br />of Jas.D.Hedge and W.A.Price now on file in the office of the Clerk of said Town of Redwood <br />City. <br />I'l <br />[7 <br />�1 <br />11 <br />
