<br />southwesterly property line of Spring
<br />Street; also that Cedar Street between
<br />the northeasterly property line of Hil-
<br />ton Street and the southwesterly prop-
<br />orty line of Spring Street, including all
<br />Intersections and terminations of said
<br />streets within the said lines be improv.
<br />ed as follows .to -wit;
<br />That the roadways of the portions of
<br />said streets above described be graded,
<br />and paved With a five (6) inch cement
<br />concrete pavement upon a three (3) Inch
<br />base or cushion of broken stone.
<br />That cement concrete curbs be con-
<br />structed along both aides of all the
<br />hereinbefore mentioned and described
<br />streets with the exception of Hilton
<br />Street between the easterly property
<br />line of walnut Street and the north-
<br />westerly property line of Maple Street,
<br />and Maple Street between the north-
<br />,atstorly line of Hilton Street and the
<br />southwesterly property line of Spring
<br />Street, the curbs being now In place up-
<br />on said streets. Said concrete curbs to
<br />he constructed as above set forth to be
<br />six (6) Inches across the top, six (6)
<br />Inches from the top of curb to gutter
<br />line and eleven (11) Inches deep, and
<br />said cement concrete curds shall be eon-
<br />strUcted and ogee at tba same time and
<br />as a part of the pavement of said streets,
<br />so that there shall be no Joint between
<br />the concrete pavement and the concrete
<br />curb. Said cement concrete curbs shall
<br />be constructed upon the corners of all
<br />Intersections and terminations of said
<br />streets within the linos described here -
<br />In.
<br />Said cement concrete curbs upon said
<br />above described streets and upon the
<br />corners of the Intersecting, and termin-
<br />ating streets above described are to be
<br />located. and constructed ns described
<br />and shown on the plans, profiles and
<br />spec Meat ions hereinafter referred to
<br />herein.
<br />The width of the streets above des-
<br />cribed and of the roadways of said
<br />streets and the width of the sidewalks
<br />of said streets are to be and are as
<br />shown on the plans profiles and speci-
<br />fleations hereinafter referred to herein.
<br />That the official elevations for street
<br />grades of said streets and avenues and
<br />portions thereof, crown grades, curb
<br />grades and grade elevations for top of
<br />gutters be changed and grades different
<br />from those established or adopted prior
<br />to the adoption by the Board of Trus-
<br />tees of the plans, profiles and specifica-
<br />(ions hereinafter referred to herein
<br />shall be adopted, and such official and
<br />different and prior grades shall be moll.
<br />fled, and are hereby modified and chang-
<br />ed, so that the official grades shall be
<br />and conform to the plans, profiles and
<br />specifications for said work and . im-
<br />provements which plans, Profiles and
<br />.speelfientiona were heretofore adopted,
<br />by flip- Board of Trustees on the 16tH
<br />day of September, 1924 by "HF.SOLfJ-
<br />TION ADOPTING PLANS AND SPECI-
<br />VICATIONS NO. G -7P which plans.
<br />Profiles and specifications are now on
<br />file In, the a office of the Clerk of the
<br />Town of Redwood City.
<br />All the work and Improvements here-
<br />in described shall be done and made to
<br />such new official grades as shown on the
<br />plans, profiles and specifications here-
<br />Inbefgre mentioned to which plans, pro-
<br />files and specifications reference is
<br />hereby made for a description of the
<br />grades aIt which said work is to be done
<br />and made; and all the aforementioned
<br />work and improvements are to be done
<br />and made in accordance with the said
<br />plans, profiles and specifications here-
<br />inabove mentioned, which plans, pro-
<br />files and specifications are on file in the
<br />office of the Clerk of said Town and to
<br />which plans, profiles and specifications
<br />reference is hereby made for an accur-
<br />ate, detailed and complete description
<br />of said work and improvements and the
<br />same are made a part of this Resolution
<br />of Intention.
<br />Notice Is hereby given that serial
<br />bonds -to represent unpaid assessments
<br />and bear Interest at the rate of seven
<br />(71,'J) per annum will be issued. hereun-
<br />der in the manner provided by the Im-
<br />provement Bond Act of 1916, the last In-
<br />stallment of which bonds shall mature
<br />and be payable nine (9) years from the
<br />2nd day of July next 'succeeding ten (10)
<br />months from their date.
<br />Except as herelnabove otherwise pro-
<br />dided for the issuance of said serial
<br />bonds all the herein proposed work and
<br />Improvements shall be done In conform -
<br />Its with and In pursuance of an Act of
<br />the Legislature of the State of Califor-
<br />nia, entitled, "Improvement Act of
<br />1911:' approved_ April 7th, 1911, and
<br />Acts amendatory thereof.
<br />RESOLVED, that the said Board of Trustees hereby rejects all of said proposals or bids
<br />except that next herein mention, and hereby awards the contract for doing said work and
<br />making sand improvements to the lowest regular responsible bidder, to -wit: ti' I.A.Dontanville,
<br />at the price named in his bid.
<br />The Town Clerk is hereby directed to post notice of this award conspicuously for five
<br />days, on or near the council chamber door of the Board of Trustees of said Town of Redwood
<br />City, and also to publish said notice by two successive insertions in the Redwood City
<br />Standard, a weekly newspaper published, printed and circulated in said Town of Redwood City
<br />(there being no daily or semi-wee1zly newspaper published or ciculated therein), and hereby
<br />designation for that purpose by said Board of Trustees.
<br />Passed and adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Torn of Redwood. City at the hour of
<br />.45 of clock: Pa,-. at a regular adjourned meeting of said Board held on the 21st day of
