<br />Regular adjourned meeting of the Board of Trustee held.

<br />Upon roll call there were present Trustees,Dresident H.A.Beeger,O.K.Iuiabie,A.E.Monteith,
<br />G.W.MeNulty,M.E.Ryan,Clerk W.A.Price.

<br />Several communications were read from property owners on Roosevelt Avenue requesting
<br />I
<br />the Board to proceed with the imptovement of said Avenue,was on motion of Trustee Monteith
<br />j seconded by Trustee McNulty,same be received and filed.Motion Carried.
<br />On motion of Trustee Mabie,seconded by Trustee Ryan and carried, the City Engineer
<br />I
<br />prepare Plans and Specifications for an oil macadam surface on Roosevelt Avenue.
<br />Communication from E.D.Weymouth 1429 Oak Avenue asking the Board to install a street ---
<br />light in that vicinity was on motion of Trustee McNulty,seconded by Trustee Mabie,same
<br />be referred to City Electrician.Motion Carried.
<br />Application of the Red Rose Harmony Club of Lomita Park to hold a dance in Forester's
<br />Ha11,Saturday evening January 3rd.1924 until one o'clock was on motion of Trustee Mabie,
<br />seconded by Trustee McNulty same be granted. Motion Carried.
<br />On motion of Trustee McNulty,seconded by Trustee Monteith and carri ed,C.K.Mabie be re-
<br />appointed Trustee of the Pulgas Mosquito Abatement District,
<br />On motion of Trustee Ryan,seconded by Trustee McNulty and carried,the insurance policy
<br />of the Maryland Casualty Company for the volunteer firemen be accepted.
<br />On motion of Trustee Monteith,seconded by Trustee Ryan and carried tlB City Attorney
<br />be instructed to draw up an Ordinance pertaining tothe set back zoning districts.
<br />Trustee Mabie offers the following Resolution and moves its adoption,Trustee Monteith
<br />seconds the motion.Motion Carried.

<br />RESOLVED, that whereas the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City,difl on the 17th
<br />day of Novemberg19249pass and adopt Resolution of Intention No.G-IO-to order the herein-
<br />after described work to be done and improvements to be made in said Town of Redwood Ctty,
<br />which Resolution of Intention No/G-IO was duly and legally published as required by law,
<br />as appears from the affiadvit of J.D.Hedge,now on file in the office of the Clerk of said
<br />Town; and --_
<br />jWHEREAS,notices of the passage of said Resolution of Intention NO.G-IO headed "Notice
<br />OF IMPROVEMENT” were duly and leg-4117yposted along the line of said compemplated work
<br />and improvements and in front of all ptoperty liable to be assessed therefor,in time,form,
<br />manner, and number as required by law,as gppears from the affidavit of C.L.Dimmitt,Street
<br />Superintendent of said Town of Redwood City; and
<br />WHEREAS,it appears from the affidavit of C.L.Dimmitt,said Street Superintendent,hereto-
<br />fore herein referred to that the posting of said notices of improvements as aforesaid was
<br />completed on the Ist.day of December,1924;and
