<br />Regular meeting of the Board of Town Trustees held.
<br />Upon roll call there were present Trustees Pres H.A.Beeger, C.K.Mabie, A.E.Monteith,
<br />G.W.MeNulty, M.E.Ryan, City Clerk W.A.Price.
<br />Moved by Trustee McNulty, seconded by Trustee Ryan, minutes of meeting held Jan 19,1925
<br />be dispensed with until next regular meeting. Motion carried.
<br />Moved by Trustee Ryan, seconded by Trustee Monteith, the City take the proper proceedings
<br />in removing the lumber yard of E.W.Magruder situated on Block "C" Vera Ave Villas.
<br />Motion carried.
<br />Communication from the Veterans and Citizens Protective League, expressing to the Board
<br />and Police Dept its appreciation of the splendid work done in making arrests and securing
<br />convictions under the Wright act, was on motion of Trustee McNulty, seconded by Trustee
<br />Mabie same be received and filed, also same be given to the press. Motion carried.
<br />Application of the Old Timers Club for a permit to hold a dance in Forester's Hall on
<br />Wednesday and Saturday evenings of Feb 4th, 11th, 14th, 18th, 21st, 25th, and 28th,1926
<br />was on motion of Trustee Mabie, seconded by Trustte McNulty, same be granted, Motion carried.
<br />Application of William Casey of Menlo Park, and John D. Farley, for a.Ivlaster Plumbers
<br />license, was on motion of Trustee McNulty, seconded by Trustse Iviabie said applications be
<br />granted, Motion carried.
<br />Application of several property owners residing on Elwood Street between Brewster Ave
<br />and Katherine Street asking for the installing of a street light on said street, was on
<br />motion of Trustee McNulty, seconded by Trustee Monteith same be installed on the recom-
<br />mendation of the City Electrician. Motion carried.
<br />Application of the -Pacific Gas 2 Electric Co for permission to set four (4) poles on
<br />Hyde Street as per Blue Print #992-R, was on•motion. of Trustee Aionteith seconded by Trustee
<br />Mabie same be granted, motion carried.
<br />On motion of Trustte McNulty, seconded by Trustee Monteith, Mr Swanson of 648-650 BroadwaTT
<br />be given permission to extend the side walk from the present one to the curb.Motion carried,
<br />Application of H. A. Beeq r for a permit to erect tanks and other buildings for the storage
<br />of oil on the north: ':Zi- ortion of Ligouri property at the northly corner of Chestnut St
<br />was on motion of Trustee Monteith, secondEWby Trustee Mabie, said permit be granted.
<br />Motion carried.
<br />On motion of Trustee Ryan, seconded by Trustee McNulty, Ordinance No 249,(regulating the

<br />establishment and maintenance of private auto camps in this City) be received and filed and to
<br />next
<br />be brought up atn meeting for hearing. Motion carried.
<br />Moved by Trustee Mabie, seconded by Trustee McNulty, the Clerk be instructed to write the
<br />Redwood City Woman's Club, in regards to the poor condition of the drinking fountain in front
<br />i .of the Central Grammer School on Broadway to ascertain what their pleasure in this matter.
<br />Motion carried.
<br />Trustee Mabie offers the following Resolution and moves its adoption, Trustee McNulty
<br />seconds the motion. Motion Carried,
<br />RESOLUTION ORDERING PLANS, AND S2E91EICATIONS NO, H-1.
<br />RESOLVED, by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City,County of San Mateo, State
<br />of California, that the City Engineer, be, and is hereby ordered to prepare plans, profiles
<br />and specifications and estimates for doing the following work and making the following
<br />improvements in said Town of Redwood City, to -wit:
<br />That Adams Street between the northwesterly line of Jefferson Avenue and the southeaterly
<br />line of Harrison Avenue; also that Clinton Street between the northwesterly line of Jeffersox_
<br />Avenue and the southeasterly line of Harrison Avenue and also that the southeasterly half of
