<br />1. _ ission of the Town of Redwood City,be and they are hereby directed to hold a Public
<br />hearing on the 2¢th.day of February,1925, at the hour of 7-30 o'clock P.M.of said day
<br />i ajr the meeting place of said'Planning Commission in the Town Hall on Webster Street in
<br />said Town of Redwood City,to consider a new zoning and set back ordinance for the Town
<br />of Redwood City.
<br />Passed and adopted by the Board of Trustee of the Town of Redwood City at a regular
<br />meeting of said Board held on the 16th.day of 11'ebruary,1925,by the following vote.
<br />Ayes and in favor of the passage of the foregoing Resolution,Trustees

<br />to have the Segrave Fire Engine varnished ,Motion Carried.

<br />Trustee Ryan offers the following Resolu•tion,Trustee McNulty seconds the motion,Motion
<br />Carried.
<br />RESOLVED that the Pacific Telephone and Telegraph Company be granted permission to
<br />place certain of the wires underground as shown on plans submitted and filed with the
<br />understanding that the streets be replaced in as good condition as at the present time
<br />and with the further understanding that the Pacific T elephone and Telegra h Comany
<br />deposit with the Town of Redwood City a bond in the sum of One thousand oIOOO. Dollars
<br />conditionel that the Company will maintain said streets torn up and replaced by them in
<br />good condition for 2 years.

<br />Moved by Trustee Ryan,seconded by Trustee Mabie and carried, the City Attorney be
<br />instructed to have the Abstract Company look up the deed of the strip of land between
<br />Railroad and Highway opposite Hlhpkins Avenue,
<br />On motion of Trustee Ryan,seconded by Trustee Mabie, the City Engineer bring in a report
<br />on the improving of Maple Street at next meeting.Motion Carried.
<br />Trustee Mabie offers the following Resolution and moves its adtption,Trustee McNulty
<br />seconds the motion.Motion Carried.
<br />RESOLUTION ORDERING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS,NO.H-2.
<br />RESOLVED,by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City,County of San Mateo,State
<br />} of California, that the City Engineer,be and he is hereby ordered to prepare plans,
<br />profiles and specifications and estimates for Odoing the following work and malting the
<br />following improvements in said Town of Redwood City,to-wit;
<br />That Roosevelt Avenue between the
<br />southwesterly line of El Camino Roal
<br />If�tf'1 and the southwesterly end thereof, said
<br />southwesterly end being the .south-
<br />westerly limits of the Town of Red•
<br />wood City, including all street and av-
<br />enue Intersections and terminations,
<br />be Improved as follows, to -wit:
<br />That the roadway be scarifi and
<br />_ reshaped and that crushed rock be
<br />placed thereon In such quantity and
<br />manner that one. (3), cubic yard of i
<br />rook will cover not to exceed three
<br />hundred (800) square feet of roadway
<br />and that there be added thereto an
<br />asphaltic oiled wearing surface; there
<br />. ds excepted however, from the work
<br />'hereinbefore described, a strip elghteen
<br />(18) inches wide immediately adJao-
<br />ent to the curb line -on both sides of
<br />maid Roosevelt Avenue, reserved for
<br />concrete gutters, there 1s excepted also
<br />from above described work the bridge
<br />on Roosevelt Avenue between Laguna
<br />and Junlpero Streets.
