<br />held on the 24th.day of March 1925,was on motion of Trustee i,7cNulty,seconded by Trustee
<br />Monteith and carried same be received and filed.
<br />This being the time fixed for canvassing the returns of the special election held in
<br />said Tbwn of Redwood City on Tuesday tla 24th.day of "larch, 1925,w$ich election was held
<br />pursuant to notice of said election duly given land published as required by law, and the
<br />i
<br />order of the Board of Trustees of said Town of Redwood City. The Board of Trustees then
<br />u
<br />examined the returns as delivered by the clerk and found 'the same properly sealed. The
<br />Board of Trustees then proceeded to canvass said returns and said Board having canvassed
<br />said returns in public by opening said returns and estimating and computing tles vote of
<br />each proposition voted upon at said special election declared the result as follows; -
<br />That the total vote cast at said special election was five hundred and ninty Eight(598)
<br />votes.

<br />That for said proposition (A being to incur a bonded indebtedness 6f Forty Five thousand
<br />(045.000) dollars in gold coin of the United States of America, for the object and purpose
<br />of paying the cost of the construction,alteration and enlargement of the. -,present Town Ha11.t
<br />on Webster Street between Washington Street and Main Street, the number of ballots marked
<br />Yes"and in favor of said proposition (A) was three hundred and fifty four(354) and the
<br />number of ballots,marked"No and against said proposition (A) was two hundred and twenty
<br />four( 224). On motion of Trustee Ryan seconded by Trustee McNulty said proposition (A)
<br />was declared rejected.Motion carried by the following vote;Roll call,Ayes,Trustees,
<br />C.K.Mabie,A.E.Monteith,M.E.Ryan,G.W.McNulty,H.A.Beeger.
