<br />That the roadway of El Camino Real
<br />from the northwesterly line of Finger
<br />avenue extended northeasterly in a
<br />straight line across said El Camino
<br />Real, southeasterly to the southeasterly
<br />limits of the Town of Redwood City,
<br />Including all street, avenue and al-
<br />ley Intersections and terminations and
<br />portions thereof, be graded and paved
<br />with a Portland cement concrete pave-
<br />ment, five (5) Inches thick, which pave-
<br />ment shn'11 be laid and constructed ac-
<br />cording to the Vlbrolithie method;
<br />there is excepted, however, from the
<br />foregoing described work a strip of
<br />said roadway twenty-four (24) feet In
<br />width and lying twelve (12) feet on
<br />each side of the center line thereof, and
<br />extending from said northwesterly line
<br />of Finger avenue extended northeast-
<br />erly across said El Camino Real in a
<br />straight line, southeasterly to the
<br />southeasterly limits of said Town of
<br />Redwood City, said twenty-four (24)
<br />foot strip being already paved; there,
<br />Is also excepted, however, from the
<br />foregoing described work, all that por-
<br />tion 'of the roadway of El Camino
<br />Real between Claremont avenup and
<br />the center line of Rogers street extend-
<br />ed southwesterly in a straight line
<br />across El Camino Real, name being now
<br />paved; there Is also excepted, however.
<br />from the foregoing described work on
<br />EI Camino Real all that portion there-
<br />of from the northerly line of Broad-
<br />way southeasterly along E1 Camino
<br />Real for a distrance of 150 feet and all
<br />on the northeasterly side of the center
<br />line of said El Camino Real; there Is also
<br />excepted, from the foregoing described
<br />work on Ml Camino Real and on the
<br />following terminations all the portion
<br />of said terminations occupied by wood-
<br />en bridges, to,wit: termination of Lin-
<br />coln avenue and EI Camino Real, term-
<br />ination of Roosevelt avenue and EI Ca-
<br />mino Real, termination of Oak avenue
<br />,and E1 Camino Real, and the termina-
<br />tion of Redwood avenue and EI Camino
<br />Real; there Is also excepted from the
<br />foregoing described work on EI Camino
<br />Real, a strip eight (8) Inches wide and
<br />Immediately adjacent to the concrete
<br />retaining wall constructed on the
<br />southwesterly side of EI Camino Real
<br />along the creek or ditch and extending
<br />from a point 240 feet southeasterly from
<br />the southeasterly line of Vern avenue
<br />to the southeasterly limits of the Town
<br />of Redwood City; provided said 8. Inch
<br />exception shall not be omitted across
<br />terminations of Lincoln, Roosevelt, Oak
<br />and Redwood avenues; there is also ex-
<br />cepted, from the foregoing described
