<br />RESOLUTION DECLARING NUISANCE, NO. H-6.
<br />RESOLVED, by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City, that whereas, certain
<br />weeds" are going in the Town of Redwood City, upon the streets and in front of the propert;,
<br />hereinafter mentioned, which weeds are of a kind which bears seeds of a wingy or downy
<br />nature and will attain such large growth as to become a fire menace when dry; and
<br />WHEREAS, the said weeds constitute a public nuisance.
<br />NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DECLARED that the said weeds do now constitute and will
<br />continue to constitute a public nuisance, and it is order that the said public nuisance
<br />be abated in the manner provided by that certain act of the legislature of the State of
<br />Califoriiia, entitled, "An Act Authorizing Municipalities to declare noxious or dangerous
<br />weeds growing upon the streets or sidewalks or upon private property within municipalities
<br />to be a public nuisance, creating a lien upon the property fronting upon such streets or
<br />sidewalks or upon which such nuisance exists for the cost of abating same". approved
<br />May 26th, 1915.

<br />The Superintendent of Streets of the Town of Redwood City, is hereby directed to give
<br />the notice required by Sretion 3 of said law hereinbefore herein referred to and shall
<br />cause said notices to be immediately posted in front of the property as designated in
<br />said section.
<br />That Monday the 1st day of June, 1925, at the hour of 8 o'clock P.M. of said day and
<br />at the meeting place of said Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City in the Town Hall.
