<br />pass and adopt its Resolution fixing and, establishing the grades upon the following streets,
<br />avenues ,boulubards,drives. circles and roads. in the Town of Redwood City,to-wit;
<br />Brewster avenue southerly from Nevada street,Myrtle street,Nevada street,Southgate street,.
<br />Inner Cirele;0uter Circle,,Opal Avenue,Hillview avenue,Foothill Boulevard,Wast.gat& street,.
<br />Canyon Road,Circle Road and Oak Knoll Drive,which Resolution is, on file in the office of
<br />the Clerk of said Town of Redwood City; and
<br />Whereae.in and by said Resolution above referred to the grades were fixed and establishe-i
<br />in the center lines of all said streets, avenues,boulevards,drives,circles and reads and at
<br />the top of the curbs and at the gatters,but the grade of the sidewalks was not fixed.
<br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the grades of the sidewalks upon all streets,aveaues,
<br />boulavards,drives,eireles and roads and on boVh sides of said streets,avanues,boulevards,
<br />drives,ciroles and roads as set forth abd described in that certain Resolution of the Board of
<br />Trustees of the Town of Redwood City above referred to and which was passed on the 5th.day
<br />of June,1922, and which..is on file in the office of the Clerk of said Town of Redwood City,
<br />be and the same are hereby fixed and established at all points to be three inches above the
<br />grades of the top of the curbs as said grades are fixed and established in said Resolution
<br />above referred to, that is to say the said sidewalks are to have a width of five feet and
<br />are to commence two feet from the property lines and extend said width of five feet towards
<br />the curbs, and the.,grades of.the sidewalks are.herein fixed and established are to be three
<br />inches on the inside edge of said sidewalks above the grades of the top of said curbs as
<br />herein provided and said grades shall slope on a uniform line from the inside edge of said
<br />sidewe.lk to the top of said curbs.
<br />.And be it further resolved by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City that the
<br />official grades of the following named avenues in the Town of Redwood City at the points
<br />and places hereinafter mentioned, be,and the same are hereby fixed and establi6hed as follow-,
<br />!to -wit;
<br />Center line of that portion of Brewster avenue,lying northerly from Nevada street at the
<br />center line of Neftda street at 34.0 feet above base.
<br />Center line of Brewster avenue at the northerly line of Nevada street at 33.89 feet above
<br />base.
<br />The grade between the two points wherein the grades are hereinabove fixed and established
<br />shall be a straight line drawn between said points.
<br />Center line of Hopkins avenue extended at the center line of Nevada street at 42.0 feet
<br />above base.
<br />Center line of Hopkins avenue at the northerly line .of Nevada street at 42.3 feet above base.
<br />The grade between the Up points wherein the grades are lastly herein fixed and establi6hed
<br />shall be a straight line drawn between said points.
<br />13ESOLVED9 that the mean high water of the San Francisco Bay is hereby adopted and establisheL
<br />ias the base from which the grades hereinabove mentioned are computed and established.
<br />RESOLVED, that the top of that certain granite monument marked"G.•B." placed in that certain
<br />triangular piece of land in the Town of Redwood City,the property of said Town,and bounded
<br />by Main Street,formerly Mound street,Beech street and the right of way of the Southern
<br />Pacific Railroad Company,which monument is located in said piece of land at a point 5.5
<br />i
<br />feet easterly from a point in the esaterly line of Main street,formerly Mound street,which
<br />said last mentioned point is 50.6 feet northerly in said easterly line of Main street,
<br />formerly Mound street,from 'the northerly line of Beach street, is hereby established and
<br />declared to be I2.6 feet above the mean high water of the San Francisco Bay,
<br />Trustee Ryan seconds the motion.
