<br />northwesterly line of Rogers street;!

<br />the northeasterly One of Arguellol,
<br />istrect and the northealikorly line of Eij

<br />easterly line line of Arguello streol
<br />and the southwesterly line oft
<br />Warren street, Including all jinter-
<br />Jaections and terminadloys and portions
<br />"'thereof within the lines of the above
<br />.described streets, be Improved as fol -i
<br />i lows, to -wit., That the roadways and,
<br />portions of roadways of said streets
<br />above described be scar1fled and re-
<br />shaped and paved with an inch and one
<br />'half (11-2) nsphaftic wearing surface,

<br />that only those portions of the Inter-`

<br />street shall be improved as above spec -1
<br />filed. And provided further that only t
<br />that portion of the intersection of
<br />Rogers street and Arguello street lying
<br />southwesterly of, the northeasterly
<br />curb line of Arguello street and south-
<br />easterly of the northwesterly curb Ifnel
<br />of Rogers street shall be improved as.
<br />herein specified. There 4s excepted,)
<br />however, from the work above
<br />described a strip two (2)
<br />feet in width Immediately adiacent
<br />to the curbs on both sides of the
<br />streets above described to be paved,
<br />reserved for concrete flutters: there Is:
<br />also excepted from the above described
<br />work on Rogers street all that portion
<br />thereof lying between a line two (2)
<br />feet northeasterly from and parallel to
<br />the most northeasterly rail of the
<br />Southern Pacific Railroad Company's,
<br />rallrond tracks and a line two (2) feet'
<br />southwesterly from slid parallel to the;
<br />most southwesterly rail of the said
<br />Southern Pacific Railroad Company's,
<br />railroad traelds, and for the fall width;
<br />of the roadway of Rogers street.
<br />That hydraulic cement gutters be
<br />constructed on both sides of the here-
<br />hrbefore, mentioned and described
<br />streets for the distances here£nbofore
<br />specified to be paved), said gutters to be
<br />two feet wide and to be six (6) Inches
<br />thick; thero "r5 excepted however from
<br />the foregoing described gutter, a piece
<br />175 feet In length beginning at it point,
<br />on the easterly gutter line of Samson
<br />street 175 feet' southwesterly from the,
<br />southwesterly line of 11'arren street
<br />and running to the southwesterly line
<br />of Warren street. Said hydraulic ce-
<br />ment gutters shall also be constructed
<br />on dal corners of intersecting and ter.,
<br />m rusting streets within the lines of.
<br />� the streets herelirbefore described, ex
<br />Icepting, however, the northeast and
<br />northwest corners of Arguello and
<br />Rogers streets, but including the
<br />southeast and northeast corners of
<br />i'Marshall and Arguello streets, the
<br />!southeast and northeast corners of
<br />Bradford and Arguello streets, the
<br />southeast and northeast corners of lrul-I
<br />ler and Arguello streets, the southwest,
<br />southeast, northeast and northwest
<br />�corners of Brewster avenue and Argu-
<br />elio street, and the southeast and'
<br />northeast co•hers of Alden and Argu-'
<br />elle streets.
<br />That hydraulic cement concrete core-
<br />bination curb and gutter be constructed
<br />,oil the southeasterly side of Samson
<br />i street beginning at a point 175 feet
<br />�sbuthwesteriy from the southwesterly
<br />!line of Warren street and extending
<br />northeasterly to the eoutbivesterly line
<br />of Warren street, the curb portion of
<br />sold combination curb and gutter to be
<br />�sfx (6) Inches across the top and cloven
<br />x(11) inches deep and the ,gutter portion
<br />+ofsaid combination curb and gutter to
<br />If
<br />eighteen (18) Inches wide and six
<br />(6) Inches thick next to pavement and
<br />five (5) inches thick next to the curb,
<br />Ind said combination curb and gutter
<br />shall be constructed at the same time
<br />so that there shall be no ,joint between
<br />the curb and gutter.
<br />And also that the following corru-
<br />gated Iron arch culverts with concrete
<br />tops and bases be constructed at thea
<br />following locations, to -wit.
<br />A 3 Inch by 24 inch corrugated Iron,
<br />arch culvert with concrete top and,
<br />base on Rogers street across the term-
<br />ination of Stafford street, with two
<br />branches of same size culvert,
<br />A 401-2 inch by 43-4 Inch corrugat-
<br />ed Iron arch culvert with concrete top
<br />and base across Arguello street at the
<br />Intersection of Rogers street.
<br />A 30 Inch by 37-8 Inch corrugated
<br />Iran arch culvert with concrete top
<br />and base across Arguello street at
<br />,northwesterly curb Sine of Hopkins av-
<br />enue with two branches of same size
<br />culvert.
<br />A 3 inch by 24 inch corrugated Iron'
<br />arch culvert with concrete tot) and base
<br />across Arguello street at southeasterly,
<br />curb line of 1T0pkins avenue with two
<br />branches of same size culvert.
<br />A 3 Inch by 24 Inch corrugated Iran'
<br />arch culvert with concrete top and base
<br />)across Arguello street at Intersection
<br />of Brewster avenue with two branch -
