17 J That Edgewood Road from Melrose Place to the southwesterly limits of the Town of ltedivood City; and also that Whipple Avenue from the south- westerly property line' of Woodstock 1'laco extended southeasterly -In a straight• line across Whipple Avenue, to the southwesterly limits of the Town of Redwood City, Including all, street and aNenue intersections and terminations and portions thereof within the lines of the above described titreets, roads and avenues be im- proved as follows, to -wit; That the roadways and portions of roadways of said above described streets, roads and avenues be graded and paved with a five (0) Ineil cement concrete pavement. The pave- ment herehibefore mentioned to be cun- atructcd upon the termination of Jeter Street and 'Whipple Avenue shall ex- tend eleven (II)i feet southeasterly from the southeasterly line of Whipple Avenue to connect with pavement now In place; the pavement horeinbefore mentioned to be constructed at the termination of King Street and Whip- ple Avenue slmll extend ten (10) feet southeasterly from the southeasterly line of Whipple Avenue to connect with pavement now In place; the pavement hereinbefore mentioned to be construct- ed at the termination of Lowell Street and Whipple Avenue'shall extend tan (10) feet southeasterly from the south- easterly line of Whipple Avenue to connect with pavement now in place; the pavement hereinbefore mentioned to be constructed at the termination Of Myrtle Street and Whipple Avenue shall extend three (8) foil. southeast- erly from the southeasterly line of lvhipple Avenue to connout with pave- ment now In place; the pavement here- in before mentioned to be constructed at the termination of Nevada street and Whipple Avenue shall extend eight (8) feet southeasterly from the south- easterly line of Whipple Avenue to connect with pavement now in place. . That hydraulic cement concrete curbs be 'constructed on both sides of the streets and avenues above described to be paved, said curbs to be six (0) Inches across the top and eleven (11) inches deep and to be made and con- structed at the same time as the pave- ment so that there will be no joint between the curb and pavement. Said curb shall also be constructed upon all corners of Intersecting and termin- ating streets and avenues wherever said streets and avenues are to be paved !as hereinbefore described. There Is excepted. however, from the curb herein mentioned n piece on the south- easterly side of Whipple Avenue be- tween the southwesterly property line of Woodstock 17�toe extended south- easterly In a straight line to the southeasterly line of Whipple Ave- nue and the northeasterly line of Iris Street, including the curb return on the southeasterly corner of Iris Street and Whipple Avenue, curb being now in place. I& as prepared�,by the City Engineer and submitted this 10th day of August, 19259 be, and they are hereby adopted as and for the plans, profiles and specifications for doing said work and making said improvements.
