17 <br />J <br />That Edgewood Road from Melrose <br />Place to the southwesterly limits of <br />the Town of ltedivood City; and also <br />that Whipple Avenue from the south- <br />westerly property line' of Woodstock <br />1'laco extended southeasterly -In a <br />straight• line across Whipple Avenue, <br />to the southwesterly limits of the <br />Town of Redwood City, Including all, <br />street and aNenue intersections and <br />terminations and portions thereof <br />within the lines of the above described <br />titreets, roads and avenues be im- <br />proved as follows, to -wit; <br />That the roadways and portions of <br />roadways of said above described <br />streets, roads and avenues be graded <br />and paved with a five (0) Ineil <br />cement concrete pavement. The pave- <br />ment herehibefore mentioned to be cun- <br />atructcd upon the termination of Jeter <br />Street and 'Whipple Avenue shall ex- <br />tend eleven (II)i feet southeasterly <br />from the southeasterly line of Whipple <br />Avenue to connect with pavement now <br />In place; the pavement horeinbefore <br />mentioned to be constructed at the <br />termination of King Street and Whip- <br />ple Avenue slmll extend ten (10) feet <br />southeasterly from the southeasterly <br />line of Whipple Avenue to connect with <br />pavement now In place; the pavement <br />hereinbefore mentioned to be construct- <br />ed at the termination of Lowell Street <br />and Whipple Avenue'shall extend tan <br />(10) feet southeasterly from the south- <br />easterly line of Whipple Avenue to <br />connect with pavement now in place; <br />the pavement hereinbefore mentioned <br />to be constructed at the termination <br />Of Myrtle Street and Whipple Avenue <br />shall extend three (8) foil. southeast- <br />erly from the southeasterly line of <br />lvhipple Avenue to connout with pave- <br />ment now In place; the pavement here- <br />in before mentioned to be constructed <br />at the termination of Nevada street <br />and Whipple Avenue shall extend eight <br />(8) feet southeasterly from the south- <br />easterly line of Whipple Avenue to <br />connect with pavement now in place. <br />. That hydraulic cement concrete curbs <br />be 'constructed on both sides of the <br />streets and avenues above described <br />to be paved, said curbs to be six (0) <br />Inches across the top and eleven (11) <br />inches deep and to be made and con- <br />structed at the same time as the pave- <br />ment so that there will be no joint <br />between the curb and pavement. Said <br />curb shall also be constructed upon <br />all corners of Intersecting and termin- <br />ating streets and avenues wherever <br />said streets and avenues are to be <br />paved !as hereinbefore described. There <br />Is excepted. however, from the curb <br />herein mentioned n piece on the south- <br />easterly side of Whipple Avenue be- <br />tween the southwesterly property line <br />of Woodstock 17�toe extended south- <br />easterly In a straight line to the <br />southeasterly line of Whipple Ave- <br />nue and the northeasterly line of Iris <br />Street, including the curb return on <br />the southeasterly corner of Iris Street <br />and Whipple Avenue, curb being now in <br />place. <br />I& <br />as prepared�,by the City Engineer and submitted this 10th day of August, 19259 be, and they <br />are hereby adopted as and for the plans, profiles and specifications for doing said work <br />and making said improvements. <br />Passed and adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City at a regular ad- <br />journed meetin of said Board held on the 10th day of August, 1925, by the following vote; <br />Ayes and in favor of the passage of the foregoing Resolution, Trustees, <br />C.K.Mabie, A.E.Monteith, G.W.MeNulty, H.A.Beeger, <br />Noes and against the passage of the foregoing Resolution, Trustees, <br />NONE. <br />Absent, Trustees, M.E.Ryan. <br />H. A.
