Intention No. H-14 or having any objections to the proposed district to be assessed for said 431 work and improvements or having any objection to proposed grades at which said work and imp. rovements are to be done and made, could appear before the Board of Trustees of said Town of Redwood City and show cause why said proposed work and improvements should not be carried out in accordance with said Resolution of Intention Boo H-1¢ or why said proposed work and impr- ovements should not be carried out and done at grades as shown on the plans, profiles and specifications referred to in said Resolution of Intention No. n-14, the owners of certain propertyin the district to be assessed for said work and improvements made written objection i to said work and improvements and to the extent of the district to be assessed therefor and JJ said Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City did proceed to hear said written protest and objection and to fully consider the same and did thereafter duly pass and adopt�a Resol=- ution determing that said protest was not made by the owners of one-half of the property in the area of the district to be assessed for said work and improvements and overruling said protest and objection and said Board of Trustees now having acquired jurisdiction to proceed and order said work and improvements.
