The Town clerk of the gown of-.edwood City is hereby directed to post a notice of said 'work and improvements together with the plans, profiles and specifications therefor conspic- uously for five (5) days on or near the ouncil Q-hamber door of said ooard of Trustees of ,said sown inviting sealed proposals or bids for doing the work and making the improvements ,ordered. Said mown :clerk is also directed and ordered to publish a notice inviting such 'sealed proposals or bids and referring to the plans, profiles and specifications posted or on file;in the Times & Gazette, a weekly nespaper published,printed circulated in said Town (there being no daily or semi-weekly newspaper published or circulated therein) for the period required by law, said newspaper being hereby designated for the purpose by the Board of Trus- �tees of said Town of Redwood City. RESOLVED, by the Board of Trustees of the ::own of Redwood City, County of -Mn Mateo,State of ;alifornia, that the City Engineer be and he is hereby ordered to prepare plans, profiles Viand specifications and estimates for doing the following work and making the following imp- rovements in said mown of Redwood City, to -wit; That Myrtle Street from the north- westerly line of Jefferson Avenue to the northwesterly line of Katherine Street,; James Avenue from the northeasterly Tine of Myrtle Street to the northeast- erly line of King Street; Lowell Street Prom the northwesterly line of James Avenue to the northwesterly line of Katherine Street; King Street from the northwesterly line of Jefferson Avenue to the northwesterly line of Katherine Street; Lexington Avenue from north- easterly line of Myrtle Street to north- easterly line of King Street; and Kath- erine Street from the northeasterly line of King Steet southwesterly to the southwesterly line of that portion of Myrtle Street lying easterly from Kath - I erine Street extended westerly In a straight line across Katherine Street Including all intersections and terroln- atlons and portions thereof within the 'lines of the above described streets and avenues be Improved as'follows, to. wit: That the rmulways and portions of 'roadways within the lines of the above described streets and avenues be grad- . 1ed and paved with a Portland cement concrete pavement dve (6) inches thick upon a base or cushion of broken stone three (3) Inches thick which pavement' shall be laid and constructed accord - Ing to the V)brollthlc method, That hydraulic cement concrete curbsi be constructed on both sides of the' hereinbefore mentioned streets and av- enues that are to be paved, said curb, to be six (6) Inches across the top and eleven (11) Inches thick, and said curb to be constructed at the same time as the pavement so that there shall be no ,Joint between the curb and the pave- ment.
