<br />Regular meeting of the of Town Trustees held.
<br />Upon roll call there were present Trustees Pres H.A.Beeger,CK.Mabie, A,E.Monteith, G.W.
<br />MoNulty, City Clerk W.A.Pricee
<br />.Absent, Trustee, M.E.Ryane
<br />Minutes of meetings held ?ugust 3rd, 8th, and 21st, 1925, also Sept 8th and 21st, 19259
<br />was on motion of Trustee McNulty, seconded by Trustee Mabie said minutes be dispensed with
<br />until next regular meeting. Motion .carried.
<br />.Application of E. Gunn for a permit and a garage livense at 1367 Main Street, same be
<br />received and filed. Motion carried.
<br />.Application of Joseph Muller for appointment on the Police force should a vacancy occur
<br />at any time, was on motion of Trustee McNulty, seconded by Trustee Mabie, said application
<br />be referred to Chief of Police Collins* Motion carried.
<br />The following dance permits was granted on motion of Trustee Mabie, seconded by Trustee
<br />Monteith and carried to wit:
<br />01& Timers Club in Foresters Hall on Wednesday evenings on Oct 7th,l4th,21st, and 28th, until
<br />2 o'clock, also on Saturday evenings Oct 10th, 17th, and 31st, 1925, until 1 oveloeke

<br />Redwood City Fire Department in Foresters Hall on Saturday evening Oct 24th, 1925*
<br />Application of the Pacific Gas & Electric Co for a permit to set and remove poles on
<br />Sequoia Street, was on motion of Trustee Monteith, seconded by Trustee McNulty said permit
<br />be granted* Motion carried*
<br />On motion of Trustee Monteith, seconded by Trustee McNulty, the City Attorney be instructed
<br />to draw up an Ordinance regulating the height of air planes fly over the City,Motion carried,
<br />Moved by Trustee Mabie, seconded by Trustee McNulty the City Clerk be instructed to draft
<br />i
<br />a letter to the Menlo Park Fire Department thanking them for their kindness in helping the
<br />local Fire Department p ent d uring the fire in the Wahl Buildingo Motion carried.
<br />Moved by Trustee Monteith, seconded by Trustee McNulty, the Board adopted resolutions
<br />endorsing National Fire Prevention week and supporting the movement inaugurated by the three
<br />schools of the City in holding essays contests on Fire Prevention", The resolution also
<br />urge the citzens of the City to back up the efforts of the firemen in making the observance
<br />of the week a success* Motion carried,
<br />Moved by Trustee Mabie, seconded by Trustee Monteith, the City sign a contract with S.J.W'hit-
<br />ing for doing the work, and the Pacific Portland Cement Co for furnishing materials, for the
<br />line
<br />improving of the southeastly side of Chestnut Street 18 feet, from the northly/tet of Stam.
<br />bough Street to the northly.end of Chestnut Street, Motion carried*
<br />Moved by Trustee Monteith, seconded by Trustee McNulty, the City Engineer be instructed to
<br />prepare temporary plans for the extension of Broadway through the Rice property (formally
<br />the Wahl property) and present same at a meeting to be held October 12th,1925, Motion carried.
<br />Affidavit of Jas D. Hedge in the matter Publishing, and affidavit of C. L. Dimmitt in the
<br />matter posting. "Notice of Street Improvement" under Resolution of Intention No. H-16 was
<br />on motion of Trustee Mabie, seconded by Trustee Me Nulty same be received and filed. Motion
<br />carried..
<br />Trustee Monteith offers the following Resolution and moves its adoption. Trustee McNulty
<br />seconds the motion. Motion carried.

<br />WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City, did, on the 5th day of"
<br />September, 1925, pass and adopt Resolution of Intention No. H-16, to order the following
