<br />Regular meeting of the Board of Trqstees of the Town of Redwood City held,
<br />Upoo, roll call there were present Trustees; -President G.i`ellcNulty,C.g.Mabie,H.A,Beeger,
<br />M.E.Ryan,Clerk W.A,Price.
<br />Minutes of regular meeting held April 2nd.1923 were read,and on motion of Trustee Beeger,
<br />seconded by Trustee Ryan and carried same be approved as read,
<br />Moved by Trustee Ryan,seconded by Trustee Beeger and carried,Mr,A,E,Monteith be appointed
<br />fifth member of the Board of Town Trustees of the Town off: Redwood City, for the expired
<br />term of H,C,Tuchsen.
<br />On motion of Trustee Beeger,seconded by Trustee Ryan and carried, the City Attorney be
<br />instructed to draw up a Resolution endorsing trhe Dumbarton Bridge Project,
<br />Moved by Trustee Ryan,seconded by Trustee Beeger and carried,Mr.Smith,Sect. of the Chamber
<br />of Commerce be given permission to bang a banner across Main Street at Five Points,
<br />Moved by Trustee Beeger,seconded by Trustee Ryan and carried, the Woodside Acres tract, Co;
<br />be given water service,connection to be made at Redwood Avenue and Oxford St,through a
<br />four inch main and to be laid along Oxford Street, said Company to furnish their own meter,
<br />also the cost of laying pipe along Oxford Street from Redwood Avenue to City Limits to be
<br />paid by said Company, the cost of same to be rebated from cost of water used, also -with the
<br />understanding as with the other outside consumers,in case of shortage of water said service
<br />to be discontinued, Motion Carried,
<br />Moved by Trustee Mabie,seconded by Trustee Ryan, City Engineer Dimmitt be authorized
<br />to secure an experience man for the purpose of securing data from the Redwood! City Water
<br />Company Works, the information to be used by the Board for future reference, Motion Carried
<br />Application of the Pacific Gas d Electric Company for a permit to set one poly on
<br />Madison Street as per Blue Print # 733 -R -was on motion of Trustee Beeger,seconded by
<br />Trustee Mabie,said permit be granted. Motion Carried ,
<br />Communication from C.G,Lambert,accompanied by a petition of property owners residing
<br />in Wellesley Park asking the Board to take the necessary steps to open and improve a street
<br />through lots 53 and 54 Wellesley Park,on motion of Trustee Mabie,seconded by Trustee Beegex
<br />same be referred to the City Attorney and City Engineer to proceed with the necessary
<br />proceedings, Motion Carried.
<br />Resignation of Wm.Tribolet as poundmaster was accepted,on motion of Trustee Ryan,
<br />seconded by Trustee Beeger,and carried, and the Chief of Police was instructed to procure
<br />some one as poundmaster,the Board to ratify action of same at next meetitig,Motion Carried.
<br />Applicatiolt of .Joseph Manzone fora permit to conduct a taxi -service at 72 Broadway ,
<br />was on motion of Trustee Mabie,seconded by Trustee Monteith said permit be granted,Motion
<br />Carried.
<br />Trustee Mabie offers Ordinance Number 236 and moves its introduction,Trustee Ryan
<br />seconds the motion, Motion Carried,
<br />Trustee Ryan offers the following Resolution and moves its adoption,Trustee Beeger
<br />seconds the motion, Motion Carried,
<br />RESOLUTION ON DUMBARTON BRIDGE.
<br />WHEREAS, the Board of Trusftee"s of the Town of Redwood City,has endorsed the construction
<br />of a vehicular bridge across San Francisco Bay neat Dumbarton point; and
