k <br />I <br />a <br />WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, did on the 19th.day of <br />March,1923,grant to John Lyle Harrington,a franchise to construct such a bridge across <br />San Francisco Bay near Dumbarton Point; and <br />WHEREAS, the Construction of said bridge will be a great advantage to public travel in <br />affording a direct access by route from the San Joaquin Valley and other districts, served <br />through Niles Canyon to the Peninsula District and San_Francis.co and also from the Pen- <br />insula District to Oakland and vicinity; and <br />WHEREAS, the Construction of said bridge will be.of,great benefit to the people of the <br />Peninsula District as well as all adjacent communities; <br />NOW therefore be it RESOLVED that the Board of Trustees of the Town of Recltooil.
