<br />On motion of Trustee Thorning, seconded. by Trustee Stafford, on account of the

<br />on motion of Trustee Thorning seconded by Trustee Stafford same be referred to the Plan-

<br />A Communication from Lee T. Ross, chairman of the Comrnitte appointed by the Chamber
<br />of Commerce asking the Board to arrange to have no parking pointed on the streets at
<br />various stops for the stopping Of the reninsula Rapid Transit Company , was on motion of
<br />Trustee thoraing, seconded by 'Trustee Stafford said communication be received and filed
<br />and the clerk be instructed to notify the Committee it would be given attention by the
<br />Board. IrOtiOn carried.
<br />Application of the Redwood City Liberty Club, for a permit to hold a dance in the
<br />I.O.O.L. Full, August 14th, 1922 , until 1 o'clock, was on motion of Trustee Thorning
<br />seconded by Trustee Stafford same be granted. 1,10tion carried.
<br />Trustee Thorning offers Ordinance No 263, and moves its adoption, Trustee Stafford
<br />seconds the motion. I,:ation carried.

<br />of automobile wreckers and dealers in
<br />second hand, automobile parts and ac-
<br />cessaries In the Town of Redwood City,
<br />and fixing a license fee for the conduct
<br />of such business and estabibililn;; penal-
<br />ties for the violation hereof.
<br />The Board of Trustees of the To,- n
<br />,of Redwood City do ordain as follows,

<br />lawful for. any person,persons, firm.
<br />company or corporatlou within the
<br />Town of Redwood City to engage In the
<br />business of wrecking cr taking apart,
<br />any automobile for the purpose of sal-
<br />vaging all or any part thereof or for
<br />the purpose of selling all or anY pnrtl
<br />thereof without first stcuring a per,+ill
<br />and Ilicense so to do from the Board ur
<br />Trustees of the Town of Redwood Ctry.
<br />Any person, ,persona, dent„ company
<br />or corporattod desirlaz to engage In they
<br />business of wrecking or salvaging auto-,
<br />mobiles or selling parts or portions of
<br />wrecked or salvaged automobiles In the
<br />Town of Redwood City shall before
<br />commencing said business make wrlt-
<br />ten applicatlon to the Board of Trus-
<br />tees for a permit so to do.
<br />Said applicatlon 'shall state (1) The
<br />name of the person, persons, firm, com-
<br />pany or corporation desiring said per-,
<br />mit, (2) the place oe location where
<br />said person• persnns, firm, company or,
<br />corporation Intends to conduct smith
<br />business, (3) sald applicant shall also'
<br />pay to the Town of Redwood City thej
<br />sum of One Enmdred ($100) dollars cov-1
<br />ering a license for conducting such bus-
<br />iness up to, o0
<br />and including the th day
<br />of June next following the date of said
<br />application.
<br />Upon receiving said application salts
<br />Board of Trustees shall set a day for
<br />hearing the same and shall give notice
<br />of said hearing by publication for at
<br />least two (2) weeks before the date
<br />thereof In a newspaper published,
<br />printed and circulated in said Town of
<br />Redwood Cl(y directing all persons In -
<br />forested and objecting to said applies -
<br />flea to appear before said Board at the'!
<br />time of said hearing, when their ob-!
<br />jeclions will be heard,
<br />At the time of said hearing, If the
<br />application is granted the sum of Onef
<br />Hundred ($100) Dollars accompanying
<br />said application shall be kept by the
<br />Town of Redwood City its a license fee
<br />covering the operation of said business
<br />for tine your ending on the 30th day of
<br />June next suceeeding the date of said
<br />applicatlon. Should the application be
<br />denied, the snid sunt of One Rundred
<br />($100) Dollars shall he returned to the
<br />appllennt, less the oust of the publica-
<br />tion or the notice of said bearing,
