On motion of Trustee Thorning, seconded by Trustee Stafford the Chief of Police be authorized to have the two police cans painted the cost to be $75.00 each -Motion car3y4ed. Moved by Trustee Thorning, seconded by Trustee Stafford, the clerk be instructedto purchsae 250 feet 12 inch Double jacket fire hose at 7o cents per foot- Motion carried. Reports of the Treasurer, Tax Colleetibr- Chief of Police, Building,Plumbing,Electri- cal Inspector, and Poundmaster, was on motion of Trustee Stafford, seconded by Trustee Thorning said reports be received and filed. RESOLD by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City,County of San Mateo, State of California. that the City Engineer be and lie is hereby ordered to prepare plan:, profiles, specifications and estimates for doing the following work and making the foll- owing improvements in said Town of Redwood City, to -wit: That a six (6) inch vitrified - gait, glazed tile. .pipe sewer ba constructed along the center line of Clinton Street commencing at a point. in said center line of,. Clinton Street 152 feet northwest- erly, from the northwesterly line of Cak Avenue and extending northwesterly to connect with manhole to be constructed at the cents; line of Clinton +Street ex- tended to the center line of-Roose- *sit Avenue, provided, however, that where said sewer crosses the creek on Clinton Street same shalt be constructed of a twenty, (20) . foot length of six (6) inch black dipped steel. pipe; that 'three (3) brick manholes with cast iron . frames and covers be constructed along the line ofrsaid sewer on Clinton "Street, one at each, end thereof and one adjacent to the southeasterly side of;,the bridge to be constructedacross the creek on Clinton Street as hereinafter described; that twelve (12), four (4). inch vitrified salt glazed tie pipe sewer laterals be constructed along the line of said sewer .on. Clinton .Street and extending from the main sewer in the center of the ;street to the property ,line on the - northeasterly side there- of; that twelve (12) four (4)*inch vi!ofied salt glazed the .pipe sewer laterals be constructed . along the line . of said sewer on Clinton Street .and extending from the main sewer to the center of the street to the property Iine .on theouthwesterly side thereof. That Clinton Street be improved by having,- construteed thereon over the ,creek on said Clinton Street between Roosevelt Avenue and Oak Avenue a timber 'bridge 15 feet in width, with a length of 52.23 feet, which bridge shall ex- tend from the northeasterly prop- erty line of Clinton- Street to the . southwesterly property 'line of Clinton street and across.
