<br />RESOLUTION OF AWARD N0. I-9.
<br />WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City did in open session
<br />on the 9th day of August, 1926, '.publicly open, examine, .and declare all sealed proposals
<br />or bids for doing the following work and;making the following improvements in said Town
<br />of Redwood City, to -wit:

<br />be constructed at one, time so
<br />Street to the southwesterly line of
<br />that there shall be no''joint,be-
<br />King Street. extended northwest-

<br />combination curb and gutter shall
<br />Street from the northwesterly line
<br />be constructed upon all corners
<br />of Roosevelt Avenue to the south-
<br />of intersecting and terminating

<br />portions thereof that , are to be
<br />and' improvements herein de.
<br />Paved, the curb portion of said
<br />scribed shalt be done and made
<br />'combination curb and gutter to.
<br />do such new official grades as
<br />be six (6) Inches across tho, top
<br />shown on the pians, profiles and
<br />and eleven (11)W, Inches deep, and
<br />'specifications ,hereinbefore, men-

<br />tioned, to which plans, profiles

<br />All the hereinbefore and here-
<br />inabove mentioned and described
<br />work' and improvements are to
<br />be done In accordance with the
<br />special plans, "profiles and spect-
<br />fications' hereiubefore herein.men•
<br />tioned, which plans, profiles and
<br />specifieatione are now on file
<br />In the office of the Clerk of the
<br />Town' of Redwood City, and to
<br />which plans, profiles and specifi-
<br />cations reference is hereby made
<br />for an aceurate,.detailed and com-
<br />plete description and location of
<br />said work and improvements, and
<br />the same are made a part hereof.
<br />And the Board of Trustees of
<br />the Town. of Redwood City does
<br />hereby determine and . declare
<br />that the foregoing described work
<br />_ and improvements are of � more
<br />than local or ordinary public ben-
<br />efit and will affect and benefit
<br />the .lands and district hereinafter
<br />mentioned;. which ,said district is
<br />hereby declared to be. the dis- "
<br />trict benefitted by said work and i
<br />Improvements; anti therefore the
<br />entire costs' and expenses of said
<br />work and improvements shall be
<br />and are, hereby made chargeable
<br />against and shall be assessed
<br />upon said lands and district,
<br />which district is 'within the lim-
<br />its of the Town of Redwood City,
<br />County of 'San Mateo, state of
<br />California, and said district is de-
<br />scribed' and shown' on a certain
<br />map or plat entitled "Map,Show-
<br />Ing Assessment District Under
<br />Resolutlon of Intention No,
<br />which map or plat is now on file _
<br />in the office .of the CIerk of the
<br />Town of .Redwood City, and to '.
<br />which reference is hereby made
<br />for an accurate location and de-
<br />scription of said assessment dis-
<br />trict, and the same 'is made a
<br />part hereof
<br />NOTICE is hereby given that
<br />serial bonds .to represent unpaid
<br />assessments and. bear interest at
<br />the rate of seven (7%) per cent
<br />Per annum will be 'issudd here-
<br />under in the manner provided by
<br />the Improvement Bond Act of
<br />1915, the last _ installment, of
<br />which bonds shall mature and be
<br />payable nine '(9) years from the'
<br />second day of July next auceeed-
<br />ing ton (10) months from- their
<br />date.
<br />Except as hereinabove other-
<br />wise provided,for the -issuance of
<br />serial bonds, all the* Herein pro-
<br />posed work and improvements
<br />shall be done in pursuance of and
<br />In conformity with an act of the
<br />Legislature of the State of Cali-
<br />fornia entitled "Improvement Act
<br />1911,
<br />RESOLVED that paid. Board of Trustees hereby rejects all of said proposals or bids
<br />except that next- herein mentioned and hereby awards the contract for doing said.work anq
<br />makislg said improvements to the lowest regular responsible bidder, to -wit: PENINSULA
<br />PAVING COMPANY.,at the price named in their bid.
<br />The Town clerk is hereby directed to publish a notice of this award in the Redwood
<br />City Tribune, a daily newspaper published, printed and circulated in said Town for the
<br />period required by late, and said newspaper is hereby designated for that purpose by the
<br />Board of Trustees of said Town.
<br />Passed and adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City at .the
<br />hour of 11.30 o'clock A.M. at a regular adjourned meeting of said Board held on the 9th (-.j t.'
<br />day of August, 1926, by the following vote:
