<br />Application of H. D. Goetze of San Carlos for the transfer of Mr. E. T'.Ionroe,
<br />Electrical license to him, was on motion of Trustee Dearborn, seconded by Trustee
<br />rlcNulty, the request of Mr. Goetze for'the transfer of the Electrical license be
<br />denied, but Mr. Goetze can apply for a license in his own name. Motion carried.
<br />The following'petition was presented to the Board from property owners in the
<br />district, known as "The Dumbarton District", to be annexed to the Town of Redwood
<br />City, was on motion of Trustee Thorning, seconded by Trustee T.TcNua;ty said petition
<br />be received and filed. Motion carried.
<br />PETITION TO AVITEX CONTIGUOUS TERRITORY TO THE TOW OF REDWOOD CITY.
<br />T6 the Honorable Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City, County of
<br />San Mateo, State of California:
<br />We, the undersigned, qualified electors residing within the territory hereinafter
<br />described hereby petition your honorable Board to take the necessary and proper steps
<br />as provided by that certain act of the Legislature of the State of California entitled
<br />TTAn Act to Provide for the Alteration of the Boundary of and for the Annexation of
<br />Territory to Municipal Corporations, the incorporation of such annexed Territory in
<br />and as a Part Thereof, and for the Districting, Government and Municipal Control of
<br />such Annexed Territory", approved June llth, 1913, and acts amendatory thereof, for
<br />the annexation of the hereinafter described territory to the Town of Redwood Uity,
<br />a municipal corporation situated in the County of San Mateo, State of California.
<br />We hereby state that the territory proposed to be annexed is contiguous to
<br />said Town of Redwood City and the exterior boundaries thereof are described as
<br />follows, to -wit:
<br />"'Commencing at the intersection of the easterly limits of the Tovm of Redwood
<br />City and the northeasterly line of El Camino Real, or State Highway; running thence
<br />southeasterly along the northeasterly line of said E1 Camino Real, or State Highway,
<br />to its intersection with the northwesterly line of the' Tovm of Atherton, produced
<br />northerly; thence southwesterly along the production of said northwesterly line of
<br />the Town of Atherton to the center line of said El Camino Real, or State Highway;
<br />thence southeasterly along the center line of said El Camino Real, or State Highway,
<br />same being the northerly boundary line of the Ton of Atherton, to its intersection
<br />with the easterly line of that certain tract known as Oak Grove Park, of record in
<br />the Redorder's office of the Coijuty of San Maten, State of California, in Yap Book 11,
<br />Page 46, produced southwesterly to intersect said line of said El Camino Real, or
<br />State Highway; thence northerly along the production of said easterly line of said
<br />Oak Grove Park and alone the easterly line of said.'Oak Grove Park, and continuing in
<br />a str�ii;;ht line to tI';e :j.otilprlyline of the right-of-way of the Southern Pacific
<br />Railroad Comjtany; thence northwesterly along the nottherly line of the right-of-way
<br />of the Southern Pacific Railroad Company to its intersection with the easterly line
<br />of First Avenue, as shown on the 3 -Jap o.f.North Fair Oaks, Subdivision No. 2, of record
<br />in the Recorder's office of the Con.:ty of San Mateo, State of California, in Map
<br />Book 6; at page 34, produced southwesterly; thence northerly along the production
<br />of the easterly line of said First Avenue and along the easterly line of said First
<br />'Avenue to the southwesterly line of the Middlefield Road; and thence continuing in
