T.Totion carried,. <br />RESOLUTION RELATING TO THE ISSUANCE OF IMPROMMITT BONDS <br />OF THE TOWN OF REDWOOD CITY PURDUANT TO RESOLUTION OF INTENTION <br />NO. H-14, DETERMINING THE AMOUNT OF UNPAID ASSESSMENTSi <br />PRESCRIBING THE DENOMINATIONS OF. SUCH BONDS, AND PROVIDING <br />FOR THEIR ISSUANCE AND DELIVERY. <br />RESOLUTION NO....?4.. <br />WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of the ,Town of Redwood City, did on the <br />10th day of August, 1925, pass and adopt its Resolution of Intention No. H-14 <br />for the improvement of portion of Edgewood Road and Whipple Avenue, under the <br />pursuant to the provisions of the 'tImprovement Act of 1911," as amended, and <br />did by said Resolution of Intention, provide that serial bonds to represent <br />unpaid assessments, and bear interest at the rate of seven (7) per cent per <br />annum, will be issured thereunder in the manner provided by the "Improvement <br />Bond Act of 1915," the last installment of which bonds shall mature nine (9) <br />years from the second day of July next succeeding ten months from their date, <br />reference to said Resolution of Intention being hereby expressly made, for <br />further particulars; and , <br />u`dHE.TH1fiS, the contract for said work and improvement was duly awarded <br />and thereafter duly completed to the satisfaction of the Superintendent of <br />Streets of said Town saki of said Board of Trustees, whereupon in due course <br />an assessment, diagram and warrant, wore made, recorded and delivered to the <br />contractor in time, form and manner as required by said act, and the contractor <br />having made due return thereon and the same having been duly filed; and <br />WHEREAS, on August lith, 1926, the Street Superintendent of said Town <br />made and filed with the clerk of said Board of Trustees a complete list of all <br />assessments unpaid thereunder upon the respective assessment or diagram numbers <br />thereon, whereupon said clerk gave notice of the filing of said list, and fixed <br />in said notice 1,vTonday, the 30th.day of August, 1926, (which day is an adjourned <br />regular meeting day of said Board of 'Trustees), at the hour of 18:00 o8clock P.M. <br />of said day, at the regular meeting placr of said Board of Trustees as the time <br />when interested persons might appear before said Board of Trustees and show cause <br />why bonds should not be issued upon the security of the unpaid assessments shown <br />on saicl.list; and it duly appearing that the said notice of hearing aforesaid <br />was posted and published as required by law, and no objections having been presented <br />by any persons, before or at the time set for said hearing; and <br />'RHEREAS, since the filing, of said list there have been paid assessments <br />to the gross amount of 01841.82 with the consent of the contractor, as follows: <br />Assessment <br />Number <br />4" <br />5 <br />6 <br />108 <br />157 <br />Amount in <br />Dollars & Cents <br />606.02 <br />657.68 <br />545.42' <br />32.64 <br />.06 <br />79 <br />
