Trustee Dearborn offers the following Resolution and moves its adoption. <br />Trustee McNulty seconds the motion. I,Iotion carried. <br />RESOLUTION ORDERING THE ,70RK NO. I-14 <br />RESOLVED THAT WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City did, <br />on the 30th day of August, 1926, pass and adopt Resolution of Intention No. I-14 to <br />order the hereinafter described work to be done and improvements to be made in said <br />Town of Redwood City, which Resolution of Intention No. I-14 was duly and legally <br />published as required by law, as appears from the affidavit of Sam. H. Ifindlebleck, <br />now on file in the office of the Clerk of said Town; and <br />MIEREAS, notices of the passage of said Resolution of Intention No. I-14 headed <br />"NOTICE OF.IBIPROVEMMI were duly and legally posted along the line of said con- <br />templated work and improvements and in front of all the property liable to be assessed <br />t?WP9993? and upon all the streets in the district to be assessed therefor in time, <br />form, manner and number as required by law, as appears from the affidavit of C. L. <br />Dimmitt, Superintendent of Streets of said Town of Redwood City, and now on file <br />in the office of the Clerk of said Town; and <br />,7fiEREAS, it appears from the affidavit of said C. L. Dimmmtt, hereinbefore <br />r6ferred to herein, that the posting of said notices of improvement as aforesaid <br />was completed on the 8th day of September, 1926; and <br />101EREAS, in and by said Resolution of Intention No. I-14 and the notice of <br />the passage thereof posted as aforesaid Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood <br />City fixed Monday, the 20th day of September, 1926, at the hour of 8o'clock P.M. <br />of said day at the meeting place of said Board of Trustees in the Council Chamber <br />in the Town Hall on Webster Street in said Town of Redwood City, County of,,San <br />ISateo, State of California, as the day, hour and place when and where any and all <br />persons having any objections to the proposed work and improvements described in <br />said Resolution of Intention No. I-14 , or t;o the district to be assessed for said" <br />work and improvements, or to the proposed grades at which said work and improvements <br />are to be done and made, could appear before said Board of Trustees and whow cause <br />wbry said proposed work and improvements should not be carried out in adcordance with <br />Resolution of Intention No. I-14, or why said proposed work and improvements should <br />not be carried out and done at the grades as shown on the plans, profiles and. specifi- <br />cations referred to in said resolution of Intention No. I-14, and now on file in the <br />office of the Clerk of said Town of Redtivood City; and <br />WHERE <br />AS at the day, hour and glade fixed in said Resolution of Intention No. I-14 <br />and in the notices of the passage thereof posted as aforesaid when and where any and <br />all persons having any objections to the proposed work and improvements described <br />therein, or having ani objections to the district to be assessed therefor, or having <br />any objections to the proposed grades at which said wort: and improvements are to be <br />done and made, could appear before the Board of Trustees of said Town acid ahow cause <br />why said proposed work and improvements should not be carried out in accordance with <br />Resolution of Intention No. I-14, or why said proposed work and improvements should <br />not be carried out and done at the proposed grades as shown on the plans, profiles <br />and specifications referred to in said Resolution of Intention No. I-14 and now on . <br />file in the office of the Clerk of said Town of Redwood City-, certain owners of property <br />in the district to be assesed for said work and improvements made oral objections <br />to said work and improvements and <br />,7HEi2��S, said Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City did prodeed to fully <br />consider and hear said protests and objections and. did by Ve'Sobitionrpassed by a vote <br />99 <br />r <br />
