= Redwood City November 29, 19260 7.30 010look PM. <br />IN I <br />Regular adjourned meeting of the Board of Trustees held, 1 <br />i <br />.Upon roll call thene were -present Trustees; Pres H.A.Beeger, Z.T.Thorning, D.R.Staf. <br />ford., G.W.MeNulty, E.M.Dearborn, Clerk W.A.Prioe. <br />On motion of Trustee McNulty, seconded by Trustee Dearborn the minutes of meeting held <br />November -15th, 1926 be d1spensed.with until next regular meeting. Motion carried. <br />On motion of Trustee McNulty, seconded by Trustee Thorning the Supt of Streets Inst. <br />all a sewer on Beech St from Lathrop St Mr Hildebrant to pay half and the City half of own <br />the boat. Motion carried. <br />Application of the.Pacifie Gas & Electric Cc for permission hang a Electric sign <br />outsige of their offioe at 120 Broadway, wqs on motion of Trustee Thorning seconded by <br />Trustee'Dear.born ,said permit be granted. Motion carried. a <br />Application of Vera L. Lyon requesting a street light be placed on the Electric pope Il <br />half way between Del OracAvenue, and St Francis Avenue on Hillorest Avenue in the High <br />School Acres district:, was on motion of Trustee McNulty seconded by Trustee Stafford saveii <br />be referred to City Electrician Collins. Motion carried. <br />Application of Thomas F. Geary for an extension of 60 days of his contract under . <br />Resolution of Intention No.tl-12, was on motion of Trustee Dearborn seconded by Trustee <br />McNulty same be granted. Motion carried. <br />On motion of Trustee Dearborn seconded by Trustee Stafford the Supt of Streets be <br />instructed to purchase from the California.Automobile Assn,the necessary traffic buttons <br />for Broadway and Main Street, the price to be $4.00 per piece. Motion carried. <br />On motion of Trustee Dearborn, seconded by Trustee McNulty the Clerk be instructed <br />to publish the monthly claims of the City, in the Redwood City Standard. Motion oapried. <br />Application of the Pacific Gas & Electric Cc to set the following poles, and seme <br />to be set on the.property line, was on motion of Trustee Stafford seconded by Trustee <br />McNulty and carried, to -wit: <br />Two poles on Madison Avenue as per Blue Print # 1279. R.. : <br />,Three poles on Fulton Street as per Blue Print #1278-R <br />To set, replace and remove poles on Bradford Street and Stafford.Street as per Blue <br />Print #123.5.R; - <br />on motion of Trustee Dearborn seconded by Trustee McNulty the Supt of Parks be <br />work <br />instructed to proceed with the/of improving the small parks in the Edgewood Park district <br />cost of same not to exceed the amount of $250.00. Motion carried. <br />On motion of Trustee Dearborn seconded by Trustee Thorning the Supt of Streets <br />be instructed to remove the drinking fountain in front of the Central Grammer School <br />for the reason that it is in an unsanitary condition and has been out of older for montba <br />also the Clerk write the -Redwood City Womans Club the intention of the Board of its re- <br />moval. Motion carried. <br />Trustee Stafford offers the following Resolution and moves its adoption, Trustee <br />Dearborn seconds the motion. Motion -parried. <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING DIAGRAM SHOWING DISTRICT AFFECTED AND BENEFITTED BY THE. <br />IMPROVEMENT OF PORTIONS OF VEAL AVENUEi KING STREETf HUDSON STREET AND MADISON <br />AVENUE AND TO BE ASSESSED FOR THE COST AND EXPENSES OF SAID IMPROVEMENT; ALSO <br />DESIGNATING NEWSPAPER IN WHICH THE CITY CLERK SHALL PUBLISH NOTICE OF FILING <br />OF ASSESSMFUT AND NOTICE OF FILING UNPAID ASSESSMENT LIST. <br />Resolved, by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood.City, that <br />the Diagram prepared and submitted by C. L. Dimmitt, City Engineer, showing the <br />district affected and benefited by the improvement, and to be assessed for the <br />cost and expenses of the improvement of portions of Vera Avenue, King Street, <br />Hudson Street and,Madison Avenue,,in the Town of Redwood City, as described <br />in Resolution of Intention No. I-9 of the Board of Trustees of the Town of <br />Redwood City, passed and adopted June 21st, 19269 be and the same is hereby <br />
