94 <br />Trustee =*Altyloffers the following Resolution and moves its adoption, Trustee Staf- <br />ford seconds the motion, Motion carried, <br />RESOLUTION <br />RESOLVED, by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City, County of San Mateo, <br />State :of California, that the Bank of Italy, Redwood City branch, be and they are hereby <br />directed not to pay out any money or to cash any warrant or check upon the account of the <br />Treasurer of the Town of Redwood City unless said warrants or checks are smgned by the <br />President of the Board of Trustees of said Town,the Clerk of said Town, and the Treasurer <br />of said Town. <br />And be it further resolved that the Clerk of the Town of Redwood City shall file wit; <br />said Bank of Italy a certified copy of this resolutionand receive from said Bank of Italy <br />an acknowledgment of thereceipt thereof, which shall be kept in his office. <br />Passed and adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City at a regular <br />adjourned meeting of said Board held on the 28th day of March, 1927, by the following vote; <br />Ayes and in favor of the passage of the foregoing Resolution, Trusteed;, <br />Z.T.THORNING, D.R.STAFFORD, G.W.MeMMTY, H.A.BEEGER, <br />Noes and against the passage of the foregoing Resolution, -Trustees, <br />NONE. <br />Absent, Trustees, E.M.DEARBORN. <br />H. Price. <br />Clerk of the Town of Redwood City. <br />I hereby approve the foregoing Resolution this 28th day:,of March, 1927. <br />H. A. Beefier. <br />President of the Board of Trustees of the <br />Town of Redwood City. <br />Moved by Trustee McNulty, seconded by Trustee Thorning a warrant be drawn in the <br />amount of $35.48 in favor of Mrs R. Bellew -he Tax Collector being authorized to drawn - <br />said warrant for reason too high assessment was levied. Motion carried. <br />On motion of''Trustee McNulty, seconded by Trustee Stafford the reserve fund now <br />held by Mrs Nellie L. Miramontes, Detgty Tax Collector, and W.A.Priee, City Clerk, in <br />the -amount offt-00 each, also the reserve fund in the amount of $100.00 held by C.L. <br />Dimmitt, Supt of Water, and Streets, said amounts be returned to the Treasurer, and a <br />p warrant in the amount of 0100.00 be drawn in the favor of the City Treasurer, to estab- <br />lish a petty cash fund. Motion carried. <br />Trustee McNulty offers the following Resolution and moves its adoption, Trustee <br />Thorning seconds the motion. Motion carried. <br />RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. J-1. <br />RESOLVED that the public interest and public convenience require and that it is tze <br />intention of the Bdard of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City, County of San Mateo, State <br />of California, to/order the following work to be done in said Town, to -wit; <br />That Fulton Street from the southeasterly line of James Avenue to the northwesterly <br />line of Lexington Avenue; Elwood Street from the southeasterly line of James Avenue to tde <br />northwesterly line of Lexington Avenue; Lexington Avenue from the southwesterly line of <br />i Fulton Street extended across Lexington Avenue in a straight line northeasterly to a lime <br />drawn across Lexington Avenue parallel to the southwesterly line of Duane Street and twenty <br />(20) feet southwesterly therefrom; and also that portion of Lexington Avenue from the <br />northeasterly line of Duane Street extended across Lexington Avenue in a straight line <br />F northeasterly to the southwesterly line of Clinton Street extended across Lexington Avenue <br />( in a straight line, as said streets and portion thereof are shown upon Map of Redwood High - <br />0 <br />9 <br />
