<br />Regular meeting of the Board of Trustees held.
<br />Upon roll call there were present Trustees, Pres H.A.Beeger, Z.T.Th6rning, D.R.
<br />Stafford, G.`P.McNulty, E.M.Dearborn, City Clerk W.A.Price.
<br />On motion of Trustee I:TcNulty, seconded by Trustee Stafford, minutes of meeting heli
<br />June 6th, 13th, and 20th, 1927; be dispensed with until next regular meetir_g,Motion carried.
<br />Moved by Trustee Dearborn seconded by Trustee Thorning, the Supt of Streets be
<br />instructed tp prepare Plans and Specifications to constructs sidewalks on Jefferson Ave,
<br />where ever there is no sidewalks. Motion carried.
<br />On motion of Trustee Dearborn seconded by Mrmstee Stafford the City Engineer be
<br />to prepare Plans and Specifications for street improvements on Clinton.Streot and Fay
<br />Gardens in accordance with the petition. Motion carried.
<br />On motion of Trustee -Stafford., seconded by Trustee Dearborn and carried the fol-
<br />lowing dances were granted. to -wit: t.
<br />Al Markgrafs Orchestra in Foresters Hall until 12 o'clock, on July 6�;h, - 13th, -
<br />20th and 27th, 1927.
<br />Harmony Club, in Foresters Hall until One o'clock on July.9th, 16th, 30th, 1927.
<br />The Resolution presented to the Board in regards to a portion of the Alameda de
<br />las Pulgas was on motion of Trustee Dearborn seconded by Trustee Stafford said Resolution
<br />be referred to the City Engineer to check up on location and description.Motion carried -
<br />on motion of Trustee McNulty, seconded by Trustee Dearborn the City Elecrtician
<br />was instructed to place net street light pole pposite 1120 Arguello St,Motion carried.
<br />Moved by Trustee Thorning, seconded by Trustee Stafford, Trustee Dearborn be l

<br />granted a leave of absent also permit to leave the State. Motion carried.

<br />On motion of Trustee Stafford seconded by Trustee Dearborn the caring and watering ��

<br />of the City Free Library on Broadway be put in the care of Supt of Parks Geo Hopkins. i' I "

<br />On motion of Trustee Thorning, seconded by Trustee McNulty, the Board combine the
<br />office of Janitor with the City Hall and Library, and Henry Offermann present Janitor
<br />be given the duty of attending the heating and opening of the City Hall at a salary of
<br />Op25.00 pernmonth, also the Clek to notify the Library Trustees to that effect.

<br />On motion of Trustee Thorning, seconded by Trustee Dearborn, Mr B.E.Myers, City �
<br />Treasurer be given the authory to purchase all supplies for the City offices.Motion carried.

<br />Moved by Trustee Stafford seconded by Trustee McNulty, Treasurer B.E.Myers, be
<br />appointrd by the Board to have complete charge of and be responsible for all money col-
<br />lected by the City. Motion carried.
<br />Reports of Chief of Police, Building, Electrical and Plumbing Inspector, and
<br />Poundmaster, was on motion of Trustee McNulty, seconded by Trustee Thorning, said reports
<br />be received and filed. Motion carried.
<br />Trustee McNulty offers the following Resolution and moves its adoption. Trustee
<br />Dearborn seconds the motion. Motion carried.

<br />H E CONNORS AND AWARDING CONTRACT TO 1WTU L SMITH.
<br />111HEREAS, the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City, die, on the 20th day
<br />of June, 1927, publicly open, examine and declare all sealed proposals br bids for loin;
<br />the following work and making the following improvements under Resolution of Intention
<br />No. J-7, passed and.adopted by said Board of Trustees on the 16th day of May, 1927,
