<br />RESOLUTION DECLARING.NUISANCE N0, I-8.
<br />RESOLVED, by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City, that wheras, certa_n
<br />weeds are growing in the Town of Redwood City, upon the streets and in front of the .prp.•
<br />perty hereinafter mentioned, which weeds are of,a kind which bear seeds of a wingy and
<br />downy nature and will attain such large gr'oth as to become a fire menace when dry; and
<br />WHEREAS, the said weeds constitute a public nuisance.

<br />; NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DECLARED that the said weeds do now contitute and will
<br />continue to constittute a public nuisance, and it is ordered that the said public nuis-
<br />ance be abated in the manner provided by that certain act of the Legislatsture of o.
<br />the State of California, entitled, "An Act Authorizing Municipalities to6declare noxioutl
<br />or gangerous weeds growing upon the streets or sidewalks or upon private property within
<br />municipalities, to be a public nuisance, creet,ing-aalien upon the property fronting upon
<br />such streets or sidewalks or upon which such nuisance exists for the eostr of abating
<br />same", approved May 26th, 1915.
<br />The streets upon which,and the private property in front of which said nuisance
<br />exists are more particularly described as follows, to -wit:
<br />give the notice required by Section 3 of said law herinbefore herein referred to and
<br />shall cause said notices to be immediately posted in front of the property as design-
<br />ated in said section.
<br />That Monday, the 7th day of June, 19269 at the hour of 8 o'clock P.M.of said
<br />day and at the meeting place of the Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood Cit�r, in
<br />the Town Hall on Webster Street in said Town of Redwood City, County of San Mateo,State
<br />of California, be and the same is hereby fixed as the time and place when objections to
<br />the proposed removal of such weeds will be heard and given due consideration, and that
<br />said notices shall be posted as aforesaid at least five days prior to the time of hearing
<br />objections fixed by said Board of Trustees.
