I:otion carried. RESOLUTION DECLARING NUIS31ICE NO. I-7. REa"OLVED, by the Board of Trustees of the Toym of Redwood City, that whereas, cert - ,in creeds are growing in the Tos.;tn of Redwood City,upon the streets and in front of the property hereinafter mentioned, which needs are of a kind which bear seeds of a wingy and downy nature and will attain such large groth as to become a Tire menace %hen dry; and 19iIERBAS, the said deeds constitite a public nuisance. I70i'd THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DECLARED that the said wends do now constitue and will continue to constitute a public nuisance, and it is ordered that the said public be abated ihn the manner provided by that certain act of the legislature, entitled, "An Act Authorizing 1,1unicipalities to declare noxious or dangerous weeds growliAg upon the streets or sidewalks or upon private property within Municipalities, to be a public nuisance,creating a lien upon the property fronting upon such streets or sidewalks or upon which such nuisance exists for the cost of abating same'', approved Inlay 26th,1915. The streets upon which and the private property in front of which said nuisance exists are more particularly described as follows,to-crit: Brewster avenue from the southerly line of EI Camdno Real to northerly line of Nevada Street. The said weeds constituting a public nuleance as hereinbefore specified are growing upon both sides of all the hereinbefore mentioned streets and av- enues, for the distance hereinbefore net forth and in front of all the prop- erty fronting upon said various streets and avenues for the distances hereinbe- fore specified. The Superintendent of streets of the Tocm of Redwood City is hereby directed to give ths' notice required by Section of said law hereinbefore herein referred to and shall cause said notices to be immediately pos6ed in front of the property as designated in said section. That 1.1onday the 7th day of June, 1926, at the hour of 8 o'clock P.M. of said day at the meeting place od said Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood City, in the Town Bull on ;Iebster Street in said Tovm of Redwood City, County of San Mateo, State of California, be and the same is hereby fixed as the time and place when objections to the proposed removal of such weeds will be heard and given due consideration, and that said notices shall be posted as aforesaid at least five days prior to the time of hearing objections fixed by said Board of Trustees.
