Zi. <br />Regular adjourned meeting of the Board of Trustees held. <br />Upon roll call there were present Trustees Pres. H. A. Beefier, Z. T. Thorning, <br />D. R. Stafford, G. W. ITeNulty, E. U. Dearborn, City Clerk, W. A. Price. <br />On motion of Trustee McNulty, seconded by Trustee Thorning, minutes of previous <br />meetings to be dispensed with until next regular meeting. Uotion carried. <br />Affidavits of Sam H. Winklebleck in a matter of ?ublishing and affidavit of <br />C. L. Dimmitt, Superintendent of Streets, in the matter of posting notices of improve- <br />ment on the Resolution of Intention J-12. It was on motion of Trustee I,2cNulty, seconled <br />by Trustee Thorning, said affidavit be received and filed. Motion carried. <br />Trustee Dearborn offers the following Resolution and moves its addoption, Trus- <br />tee I1cNulty seconds tiie motion, Motion carried. <br />RESOLUTION ORD2RING Tin WORK NO. J-12 <br />RESOLVED, THAT THE'REAS, the Board of Trustees of the Tovm of Redwood City did, <br />on the 18th day_of July, 1927, pass and adopt Resolution of Intention No. J-12 to <br />order the.hereinafter described work to be done and improvements to be made in <br />said Town of Redwood City; and <br />WHEREAS, notices of the passage of said Resolution of Intention No. J-12, head- <br />ed "NOTICE OF IY,TROVE1,,5UTT11, were duly and regularly posted along the line of said <br />contemplated stork and improvements and in front of all the property liable to be <br />assessed therefor, and on all of the streets in the district to be assessed therefor, <br />in time, form, manner and number as required by law, as appears from the affidavits <br />of C. L. Dirviitt, .Superintendent of Streets of the Torn of Redwood City, and H. L. <br />Winter, and now on file in the office of the Clerk of said Town; and <br />;7HEREAS2 it appears from the affidavits of said C. L. Dimmitt, and H. L. Winter, <br />hereinbefore referred to herein, that the posting of said notices of improvement as <br />aforesaid was completed on the 27th day of July, 1927; and <br />rJHEREAS, in and by said Resolution of Intention No. J-12 and the notices of the <br />passage thereof, posted as aforesaid, said Board of Trustees of the Town of Redwood. <br />City fixed Monday, the 8th day of August, 1927, at the hour of 10 o'clock A. Tar. of <br />said day, at the meeting place of said Board of Trustees in the council chamber in <br />the Town Hall on Webster Street in said Town of Redwood Cit;,=, County of San Mateo, State <br />of California, as the day, hour and place when and where any and all persons having <br />any objections to the proposed wort: and improvements described in said Resolution <br />of Intention No. J-12, or to the district to be assessed for said work and improvements, <br />or to the proposed grades at which said work and improvements are to be done and made, <br />could aj)pear before said Board of Trustees and show cause why said propose(L work-na <br />improvements should nclt be carried out in accordance with said Resolution of Intention <br />No. J-12, and''notnr _on file in the office of the Clerk of the Town of Redwood City; and <br />,IMEREAS, at the day, hour and place aforesaid when and where any and all 'persons <br />having any objections to the proposed vrork and improvements described in said ResolutiDn <br />of Intention No. J-12,._.nr having after objections to the district to be assessed therefor, <br />orhaving any objections to the proposed grades at which said work and improvements <br />are to be done and made, could appear before the Board of Trustees of said Totem of <br />Redwood City* and s.iow the cause why said proposed work and improvements sho�.ild ,rot <br />be carried out in accordance with Resolution of Intention No. J-12, or why said propos-ad <br />work and improvements should not be carried out and done at the proposed glades as <br />shown on the plans, �.,rofiles and specifications referred to in said Resolution of In- <br />tention No. J-12 and now on file in the office of the Clerk of said Town of Redwood <br />City, no person or persons appeared and no objections of any kind were made against <br />said work and improvements described in said Resolution of Intention No. J-12 or to th3 <br />extent of the district to be assessed therefor, and said Board of Trustees now having <br />0 <br />u <br />
